The few that follow me on this site may have noted that I haven't updated (anything!) in ages and I truly am sorry for that… although, like any good procrastinator, I do have an excuse!

1. (this solely pertains to this story) I hate how I approached this, it's utterly tactless and I'm less than enthused with the quality of it. That said, months ago decided to rewrite the entire story and then post it upon completion…

2. Finals.

3. Moving.

4. Vacation—went away.

5. Founding out I'd lost my USB while moving. NOTE: this USB had all of my notes on In Retrospect (along with a few chapters I wrote between studying for finals) as well as half of the rebooted Into the Dark and a good 5 chapters of my rebooted I Know that You Sleep with My Boyfriend.

6. Feeling no inspiration to write after losing everything since I only keep it on my USB and not my laptop…

However, I have forced myself to write an entirely new chapter of In Retrospect (which is currently with my beta for revision) that is totally different from what I remember of the original chapter 19 (in a good way, I pray) I am going to venture into reworking this piece again and probably begin posting after completing seven chapters as I NEED to finish it (along with In Retrospect) this summer as, given my schedule for the next school year, I doubt that I'll have as much time for writing.

Again, thousands of apologies and please, I beg of you, forgive me.
