After his defeat of Voldemort, Harry quietly slipped out of the public eye. The public only heard briefly of his marriage to Hermione Granger two years after that fateful battle, and were informed when he took the position of DADA teacher at Hogwarts. He taught at Hogwarts for 25 years before being offered the position of Headmaster. He accepted, and like his mentor before him, was constantly bombarded with requests to become the Minister of Magic. Harry politely declined each time, content with teaching the next generations of witches and wizards, spending time with his wife, 5 children, and eventually 22 grandchildren. Harry retired from the Headmaster position at the age of 147, and appointed Ronald Billius Weasley III as his successor. Harry spent his retirement in quiet solitude with Hermione in their house at Godric’s Hollow. At the ripe old age of 203, Harry passed away, leaving behind a legacy even greater then Dumbledore or the famed Merlin. To this day, children still listen in rapture to stories of the-boy-who-lived and his famous scar.
