“I love you.” Hermione told Harry, looking directly into his eyes, gripping his arms so he couldn't pull away.

“No…No…Hermione don't say that.” Harry told her trying to break free. “You shouldn't love me…”

“But if I didn't say it, well I'd still have felt it
where's the sense in that?”

“But I do, Harry! I do, It doesn't matter whether you tell me you're leaving me or not! I'm in love with you!” She yelled at him.

“I promise I'm not trying to make your life harder
Or return to where we were…”

“No…” He protested further, “Everyone I love gets hurt. Not you, Hermione…not you. It would be too hard on me if you got hurt…or…killed.”

“I will go down with this ship. And I won't put my hands up and surrender… There will be no white flag above my door…I'm in love and always will be…”

“I don't care if I'm in danger! I WILL be beside you `til the end! Can't you hear me, Harry?! I'm in this! I will not give up because you think I could die! I am in love with you!! Regardless of how vulnerable that makes me!” She exclaimed.

He stared at her. “No! Too many people…”

“…I know I left too much mess and destruction to come back again…”

“Everyone has pinned you because you love me! YOU broke up with ME, remember?! And I let you come back…You were my weakness…you ARE my weakness…” Harry argued.

“…And I caused nothing but trouble
I understand if you can't talk to me again…”

“Harry I know you are angry! I caused you trouble when you were in danger because you were more concerned with ME than the actual fight! I know you don't want to speak to me ever again…”

“…And if you live by the rules of "it's over"
then I'm sure that that makes sense…”

“…And if you can live that way…just tell me we're through…than fine! I'm sure in your messed up `saving people first' head that sounds perfectly okay! But not to me! It sounds stupid and fake!” She continued yelling.

“Hermione stop it! Give up already! I said it is over! You can not force me into this again!” Harry angrily yelled.

“I will go down with this ship. And I won't put my hands up and surrender… There will be no white flag above my door…I'm in love and always will be…”

“Oh will you shut up, Harry! I am in this with you! Even if you say that you do not love me at all…which I know is a lie…I love you! I ALWAYS will! Even if some stupid dark and evil wizard tells me he'll kill me for it!” Hermione screamed, almost chuckling at the last sentence.

“…And when we meet, Which I'm sure we will, All that was there, Will be there still, I'll let it pass, And hold my tongue… And you will think, that I've moved on....”

“If you decide to do this…just cut me out of your life! I KNOW you will regret it! I am also your BEST friend Harry! We can't avoid each other forever! What happens when one day we see each other again and I know I still love you! But you'll just be too busy thinking that you made the right decision…you'll think I'm married or have a perfect boyfriend who I'm madly in love with! But I won't…because I will only EVER love YOU!” Hermione exclaimed, holding his arms tighter than ever.

“Hermione, I swear, Merlin…get away from me! I told you to go! I do not love you. I never, ever want to see you again!” He yelled, finally pulling free of her grasp.

“I will go down with this ship. And I won't put my hands up and surrender… There will be no white flag above my door…I'm in love and always will be…”

He walked down the hall away from her and she screamed after him, “Fine! Walk away Harry…Just leave! But know one thing! Regardless of whether you let me tell you I love you or not, I do and I am fighting beside you…whether you like it or not!”

“I will go down with this ship. And I won't put my hands up and surrender… There will be no white flag above my door…I'm in love and always will be…”

“I'm not surrendering to this, Harry! I will not give up on you! I know you still love me!” She cried, and sunk to the ground against the wall. “Please, Harry…I need you. I love you. And you love me. Please…don't walk away from me because you don't want me to get hurt. I'm dying with you walking away…Come back…”

He stopped, but did not turn around. He heard her cry harder and he turned to face her.

Running as fast as he could back to her, he knelt down and held her in his arms.

“I'm so sorry Hermione….I love you. Merlin, I love you too much…I'm scared. Someone will hurt you...and it will be all my fault…”

“I will go down with this ship. And I won't put my hands up and surrender… There will be no white flag above my door…I'm in love and always will be…”

“Harry.” She said between tears. “It would not be your fault. And no one will ever kill me. I promise you I will be by your side every second of this wretched war…I love you, Harry James Potter. I am in this until the end. Please, promise me you'll never do what you've done lately to me again?” She asked him.

He thought. Merlin, what I've been doing to her…it's purely idiotic and selfish…I'm scared for her, yes. I can't believe she still loves me after all this…

“I promise, Hermione…I'm so sorry. I love you. I love you.” He told her, rocking her in his arms. “I lied when I said I didn't. You put up with me through all this…I can't believe it. I was being a stupid git and I swear to you I will never say those lies again…I love you. Forever and Always.”

A/N: I love this song…I also like to think of it as our ships (H/HR) theme song! read it over again if you're confused at what I just said. We're saying that we will go down with this SHIP…and that we wont surrender…no matter what! Ha.
