Just a little pep talk before I get on with the story (Yes I had this up before, but the administrator-people took it down…gits.)

So book 6 has come out. What a difference 72 hours makes, huh? At 8:20 Saturday morning, most of us didn’t know what major tragedy would befall us. A Harry\Hermione tragedy. Sure everyone suffers because of Dumbledore’s death, even more because the arse Snape was the one who killed him, but us Harry\Hermione, Ron\Luna, Neville\Ginny, and Draco\Ginny shippers suffered more than everyone else.

Now is the time for us to rally together and get other Harry Potter readers to sway to our way of thinking. If JKR doesn’t put Hermione with some ungodly character, kill her off, or get Harry back with Cho or Ginny, or kill him off at the end (which sadly, I have the hunch will happen L ) then she and Harry may just very well have a chance to end up together.

One thing I noticed this time around was that Hermione seemed a great bit darker. She was more willing to defy Molly’s specific orders not to stray from the Twins’ shop, she told Harry off more and for lesser reasons too. I think that JKR might be preparing us for something big to happen to her. Whether it’s her own death, her parents’ death, Crookshanks’ death; I don’t know. All I know is something big’s gonna happen in book 7. It has to because each book has topped the previous one and JKR’ll have a great bit of work ahead of her if she’s going to top Dumbledore’s death and fit in a final battle with Voldemort.

On with the story….

This is a songfic of the song, “If Something Should Happen” by Darrel Whorley. The song is in black Italics, and the story is in blue regular font. By the way, the spacing sucks majorly, I don’t know why. Oh well.

Basically it’s James talking to Sirius and Lupin, about if he doesn’t survive if Voldemort attacks. Enjoy.

Make sure you keep Lily out of depression…For Harry.

Because she’s gonna need a lot of that
Take her out to a movie
Take her to see a muggle movie. She’ll like that.

It's gonna take sometime before she’s back on her feet.
I know you think I'll be fine and I'm talkin’ crazy
But there’s always that chance
No one‘s ever survived the Killing Curse.

That's why I'm askin’

Little Nathan is growing up so fast
This November he'll turn 10

Harry’s only one and a half.

He wants to play quarterback.
He’ll be a good Quidditch Player someday.

I'm supposed to coach his team this fall
I want to coach him to play in the junior leagues.

But I may not get to after all
He's gonna need someone to catch a pass
He’ll need someone to teach him to fly.

And to throw it back
If something should happen
Oh promise me you'll take that boy out campin’
Throw a line out in the water every now and then
Answer and questions that he has
Be there when he gets accepted to Hogwarts.

Maybe once he gets older
You can sit and have that first cold beer together
Maybe once he’s of age, you can share a bottle of Firewhiskey.

And tell him a couple stories on his father
Tell him stories of his father and the things we did as the Marauders’

And have some babies
