Saying Goodbye:

It's hard to say goodbye, it's hard to watch someone you love go, it's harder to stay here after they are gone. Passed beyond the veil into a world different from our own, hopefully a world better than our own. I never knew you like I wanted to know you but I knew you well enough to know I love you and I will always love you.

I'm sorry I couldn't save you, that in trying to help you I lost you instead, and I need to live with that. But I will live with that because I know that is what you want, for me to live. One foot in front of the other, one step at a time, minute by minute and hour by hour, I will live.

I know it's hard to say goodbye, but this isn't goodbye, only see you later, because one day I know that I will also pass beyond the veil and we will once again be together
