This was such a good story! It made me cry, because my boyfriend and I went through something very similar. He never came back though, and its been almost two years. I'm so glad that things worked out for Hermione and Harry, though I think she should've slapped him a bit

Nice story! I loved Harry's jealousy over Seamus and how it made him realize how much he needed and wanted Hermione. I also liked the fact that she didn't give in right away. She'd given him chances that he hadn't taken, so she made him work for it. That is as it should be, in my humble opinion.

i love it. its really a good read and well written although i think its a bit too short for something that clearly has parts that need expanding. . but despite that its ok. the story's already enough and really good. i really like the bit when Harry broke into Hermione's place. that was cute.

Despite your misgivings, I think this was a very written piece. Just enough angst and drama, but a nice resolution.

Well, I won't claim to have expert knowledge of this sort of situation, but it seems kind of unrealistic that Hermione, the ever-reasonable intellectual, would be actively TRYING not to reconcile with her oldest friend when he's so sincere. Granted, I know nothing but what you've told us about their previous relationship, but that was the thought that followed me through most of the story.

Otherwise, it was interesting, and obviously I liked it enough to finish reading it. I think it could maybe use some expansion to draw the reader in a little deeper, but it wasn't too bad.

I did like the part with Harry breaking through the wards, though. That made me smile.

I love this story. Love is wonderful but it's heartbreaking and sometimes messy. I like that Hermione was trying to let him go and starting to move on. That Harry finally woke up and realized what he was losing and refused to let her go no matter what. I loved that Hermione stood her ground and didn't just take him back and even in the end when she did she made him understand that she didn't trust him fully yet and wouldn't for a long time. Your story is more realistic messy yes but real.
