Another great chapter! Hermione's 'acting' seemed a little over the top, but I enjoyed it nonetheless . Will you write chapters for all 24 hours, or will you start consolidating and/or end the story before 24 hours is up?

Please don't abandon this story - it's become one of my favorites. I really liked Tapestry as well - it came up on one of my searches of older fics on PK.

I like the 24-esque style that you have going in this fic, though I wish more time was spent on Harry/Hermione/Ginny/the kids and that situation. When you departed from it for a different scene and then didn't come back until near the end of several chapters it was very cliffhanger-y. I also wish I could see more of the haphazard cooperation that goes on between Malfoy (and I like how you characterized him in this story; in so many he's just a two-dimensional wash-out) and the Muggle officers. I hope that the detectives from the first several chapters have a larger part to play as well.

In short, I really like the story and hope you continue it on to the end - and then finish the sequel to Tapestry :-)

I've just read some of your review responses and I'm relieved that the story isn't actually abandoned.

Having said that I'd like to throw my support behind the requests that you continue to post here at Portkey. It's the only fanfic site I visit (though I could go elsewhere I suppose) I have such a brief amount of time to catch up on stories that I'm afraid I'd forget to find you elsewhere.

You are an excellent writer and a great storyteller (the two are not always the same) and I would be very appreciative if you continue the story here. I'm sure many other readers would feel the same way.

In any event, thanks for the consideration and keep up the great work.

I read all the chapters to this story last night but didn't review because I wanted it to be a coherent review and it was four a.m. heh. Anyways I came back to PK today and saw that you abandoned the fic...? I vaguely remember something you wrote at the beginning about not having many readers which is weird because I remember really loving Tapestry.

Meh, hopefully you continue this story at some point; I've never seen 24 but you write really well (grammatically and stylistically) and I like the plot. I thought of a suggestion that I was going to write in earlier today; I guess it'll be useful if you ever continue this? heh. Anyways I get that the Baron is supposed to be all mysterious but I think it would benefit the story if you gave some clues to his motivation or plan. Drop a few clues (tiny ones, snapshots that make sense after the plot is revealed but in no way make it possible for the reader to guess the ending) about why he's doing what he's doing (power, what else) and maybe what he intends to do (other than make the country go crazy and kill people).

Normally I'd say something about this being a nice start to a story (because it is!) but since you're abandoning it () I'll just go with hoping to read a new story from you sometime.

Wow, that was intense!! The attack on Harry was a complete surprise to me, though now in retrospect it seems obvious. Of course they would go after him, but the way you have lured me in I was completely taken by surprise.

I'm not at all sure about this Ginny issue. As I see it there are three possibilities, none of them good; 1) it's not Ginny, but someone polyjuiced, 2) it is Ginny but the has been forced into cooperating with the bad guys, 3) it is Ginny and she is selling out Harry freely. Not sure which I hope it will be, they all mean bad news for Harry et. al.

I was glad to see some action from James and Celesca; I missed those two. You really did a great job developing them in the last story.

You're going to be the death of me with these cliffhangers. You've captured the spirit of 24 and Harry Potter in a wonderful mixture. Bravo!

I'm desperately trying to draw parallels between the characters and I had Ginny tagged as the Nina character from early on but her reveal is a little early. Hopefully you don't do a kill/resurrect Tony job though!

This chapter seemed a bit choppy...should have given more attention to the water treatment plant and the Baron's plans...don't jump so much between settings.

Still good, however. Looking forward to the next one.

The plot is definitely picking up quicker...the sooner the anti-Baron efforts are unified, the better.

For the sake of interest, make the H/G dynamic slightly more complicated than the gradual breakdown...as inevitable as it is, might not hurt to see some uncertainty along the way.

I'm on the edge of my seat now! Things are unfolding, but I'm not yet sure where everything lies. I'm looking forward to piecing this mystery together. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.
