Hey! I'm a newbie reviewer! Actually, I just sign up at PK and guess what? This is the first fic I've ever reviewed!

It's absolutely spellbinding! Draco and Ginny are not out-of-character! Most authors have some problems keeping Draco in character with the canon series. Well done for you! You use really easy and simple words, in order to let people comprehend the fic much better!

Shouldn't be those shopkeepers, be afraid and call for help, when they realized that it was Draco? They seem like a respectful lot, to Draco. Like you said-- So, the fic will turn out as Draco/Ginny right?

Ooo, there are some feelings coming to the surface aren't there? i think that some of ginny's cheerfulness is rubbing off on a certain someone, whether he likes it or not lol! wow, Tom was really scared. i was a little surprised at just how scared he was. i mean, yea, a little, but he was darn near terrified! Fudge is so stupid! i love it! and madam malkin? i love her persistance at not giving draco a robe that was not made for him! at's pathetic how much respect the malfoys get. people are just terrified of them, and that's the only reason. very sad... I'm not surprised at how much the malfoys have in their Gringott's vault. i guess ginnny was just wow-ed. anyway, as usual, wonderful job! I can't wait for more!

Strange, how this group of people can literally just sit around and read for two whole years, i mean Hermione, yeh I can understand. But Ron and Harry? They're like the most restless people ever, and Sirius as well.
whatever happened in the past must have traumatized them REALLY badly
poor things =)

I like your Ginny, really practical, she is able to take care of everyone as well as herself, but still has that slightly hard edge which shows she has been through many things and is not a girl anymore.

I wanna know who Marion is!!!! I have so many ideas I don't know where to start...ex-girlfriend, dead sister, best friend....No clue! Yay for Ginny and Harry, only not! I can't wait for the Ginny Draco action. It is in its early stages at the moment. I can tell! Draco must be half normal at least. He said thanks, AND that he was sorry. Big accomplishment. I am proud of you Draco! lol, can't wait for more!

I really feel for Draco, he's hiding his pain as if it were his fault, when it was really Lucius' fault. I imagine that the others (the girls, anyway) would only soften toward him if they knew what his father had done to Marion, and right in front of him, no less.

Well, time will tell, right?

God this story keeps getting better and better!! Loved it, really! Don't worry about the english; it was perfect. Though I'm not a very good judge, since my native lenguage is spanish...
I am very very curious to know what happened to Ginny. Did Harry do something? Oh I dunno, but you left us with such a cliffie!!
Other thing that I wanted to say is that it's really hard for me to picture R/Hr. Because I don't think it would ever work. So I was a but put out by Hermione's welcome to Ron; I can't imagine her doing that to anyone but Harry.
But besides that, I think you are keeping the story very IC and with a lovely suspense. I am also really happy that this is gonna be a long story in the end; so I'll be entertained for a long while.
So, I loved the chapter. I hope you upload the next one soon.

i like it a lot so far. i love D/G so whenever that begins i will be in heaven! as much as i dislike Draco, i love him to death, ya know what i mean? anyway, i can't wait for more!

Oh, what a wonderful chapter. You know something? This is the best fanfic I've read here at portkey. Many times it has happened to me that I start reading a fanfic but drop it because it gets too OOC.
Your fanfic is brilliant. I see lots of interesting plotlines coming and I also have to mention that I love your writing style. I like that it's descriptive enough but also very IN-character, and that's the most important thing for me in a fanfic.
I think the thingy at the beginning was a dream, but a dream of something real. I'm not sure if it's the future or what, but I think it was definitely something real.
I am very much enjoying this fanfic and I can assure you that I'll keep reading. I can stomach the R/Hr and H/G thingy. At least it seems Ginny is not too happy. And actually I am one of the firm H/Hr shippers that believes R/Hr has a small chance of happening. And why do I think that? Cuz I have seen practically no Hr ---> R clues.
But anyway, this post is getting too long, even for me. So again, I congratulate yoy for writing a beautiful story and I beg you to continue, as I'll always keep reading it.

Sorry I haven't reviewed the previous chapters, I think your story has a very interesting start, lots of potential! I think the dream was something in the past, sort of like history repeating itself and only Draco can find a way of stopping them from repeating the mistakes of their ancestors... yes? no?

Well, if their clothing is any indication, the dream at the beginning of this chapter was something that happened in the past, perhaps during the founder's days?

I am very interested in the strange reactions Draco's getting from Hermione - is her unease really only because she doesn't trust him, or is there more?

And what about Ginny? She was blushing to cause a tomato shame. Has she a secret tendre for Draco?
