A very complex and thoughtful chapter. It's a good job and solid, if a bit frustrating for the lack of (apparent) forward progress. It will be good to see things really begin to role and for the 'sides' start to really take shape. The scrambling of the two sides to decide 'who's who' is interesting...but only up to a point.
I look forward to your next chapter!

Whew! All this politics is facsinating, the binding oaths, the wheels and machinations. It can all get a bit heady. It's an altogether different kind of battle. I am happy for Sirius, he deserves much happiness. I do see dark clouds on the horizon. I do hope that Umbridge gets swatted soon. I really don't like her. Great job!
BTW, I picked up Loreena McKennitt new Christmas album, sounds great! |

Hello Muggledad.
A very interesting update.
It is good to hear that Sirius is going to be a daddy. Any thoughts on when that will happen to Harry?
Their will be massive fallout in the Wizengamot when the Queen enacts one of Hermione's suggestions.
It was a nice touch to have Sirius forget all about Draco and his mother. A kidnapping attempt at Christmas could be on the cards with Draco as one of the main agents or maybe not.

Great chapter! I love the interaction between Harry and Hermione. It clearly shows the love that started out as friendship and has turned into true love. I'm glad that loser Ron got what's coming to him. Keep it up! |

i am salavating for more, this battle was so well written. I can't wait for the next update, when i wasn't busy spending time with my fiance i was at my computer reading straght from chapter 1 to now. I love getting wrapped up in a great story and appreciate your work giving me the chance to do that this weekend. |

Great chapter! An all around great way to start out the story. I like how you had Harry do a "last ditch effort" to get out of their and really did everything he could with what spells he knew to get out of there. It's more realistic and exciting. I also love how you showed the relationship between Harry and Hermione while making Ron look like the loser that he is. The way Harry dealt with everything was key and evident and it showed poise under pressure on Harry's part. The way Harry got Sirius free from his charges was great as well. Keep it up! |
