That was excellent, and I love your reasons for ending it where it did. It's fun to see them as 20 year olds, growing and changing, not just a fic where randomly in the space of a few months James and Lily suddenly change. I like the old current of love between them and trying to work through what happened. I really enjoyed this!

Well I'm glad you didn't feel like adding useless angst, however it would have been interesting to see their path to being together again, especially Lily realize that this time he meant it when he said he would not do mistakes.

I'm glad Lily broke up with Amos before anything happened with James, that's a tactful thing to do. But, wasn't it a "real" relationship? I guess I was more right than I thought about Amos being a rebound... Anyway, what's up with him? Why does he hate James that much?

and Alice at the end was funny, especially the pussy comment,

I have seen I hadn't reviewed this chapter, nor the following two, I think I might have forgotten to finish reading the story. Anyway, I'm glad to see James not giving up, I completely agree that he had been a jerk but he deserves another chance if she was so ready to settle down with him when he wasn't, otherwise she might regret for her whole life. And besides, Diggory seems a bit lame, doesn't he?

Nice work on this piece. I like the point where you stopped. It seems like a lot of loose ends still exist, but the ending is totally appropriate and it makes sense to stop here. The only comment I had was that I thought Lily's mind was changed a little too quickly. At the beginning, she was completely opposed, but then within a chapter, she was already back to giving James another chance. I thought maybe this change of heart could be more gradual. However, if the abrupt change was your intention, then nice work, it definitely came across! Again, this is a fabulous story! Keep up the excellent work.

Well, it all would depend on how much I trusted the guy. In Remus' case, it seems strange that he can trust James with his secret about being a werewolf but he can't trust him when he says he knows Lily is the one now and he won't make that mistake again.

As for how much it affected her...he can't know, can he? They ended avoiding each other for two and a half years...but she might enlighten him along the path to being together again, don't you think?

As for Amos, sure, she says it's a real relationship, but is it really? I tend to think she WANTS it to be real, to fill the void left by James. And yes, at times I surprise myself too about how romantic I are

Well at least he was honest with her, like Remus suggested. As for Lily's reaction...she knows they weren't terrible together, and yes he hurt her but he wasn't going to cheat on her...she just likes to think that because otherwise she'd realize that she's with Amos only to fill James' place in her life

Again, I don't udnerstand why Remus doesn't think they should be together again. Ok, James made a mistake, a huge one in that, but seriously, who doesn't?

I don't understand why Sirius and Remus are working AGAINST James. It doesn't make sense, ok they are Lily's friends too and don't want her to be hurt again but they are James' best mates and if he says he's understood she's the one he won't make the same mistake again, give hims ome credit bloody hell!

As for Lily...girls have a really good memory of things happened in the past, they usually don't forget people acting like James did...if the situation was reversed, James would be much more willing to give it a second go, I'm sure. As I said, I wouldn't like to be in his shoes.
