oh. my. gosh. you're going to get me fired, because I started reading your story last night and actually called in sick so I could read the whole thing from start to finish. it's lovely! I know you just updated on new year's day, but please add soon...just wonderful.

I absolutely loved the fight between Draco and Harry! It was genius and brilliantly written, as always. As for Draco and Harry ganging up on Hermione, that was definitely a good idea, even though I would prefer Draco 'fessing up and telling Harry about the Discordium. As for the chapter being posted in two parts, it worked fine for me, so I don't think you should worry too much about it. Can't wait to read more. Can you give us an update about the story's progress?

Well, that was well worth the wait in my opinion. I'm glad Draco is finally putting the pieces together and seems to have found an out for Hermione's troubles. Now he just needs to convince her he's right and find a way for Harry to overturn the Rites and there we are, they live happily ever after. Simple! Only I know you won't make it that simple ;o) Well done once again!

i haven't read the chapter yet, but let me just say that this is the best New Year's gift EVER! I'm always on the lookout for new chapters of this story, but you always catch me off guard and it's the best surprise. Enough of my babbling, I'm off to read the new instalments.

I had a long drive back from Cleveland to Philly to think about this. The logical thing to do now is for Harry or Draco or both to confront Hermione directly and right away about this Discordia potion that is slowly destroying her sanity.

I'm worried that they've stupidly let her get away, and that in the state of mind she's in she might up and run again - even back to whoever's trying to reach her from the USA.

Oh, and Cadmus seems like a dragon animagus.

Slight plot inconsistency uncovered here. From this chapter:


“I TOLD YOU NO AND I MEANT IT! I DON’T WANT TO KISS YOU, DRACO!” she screeched; her eyes enlarging. “I don't want you! I don't want Roger! I don't want Ollie! I don't want…”

She paused as if losing the thread of her rant…or sanity. Grabbing both sides of her head, her eyes squeezed shut.

“YOU'RE NOT HIM!” she shrilled, pulling at her long brown tresses. “NONE OF YOU ARE! NONE OF YOU WILL EVER BE HIM! YOU'LL NEVER BE HIM! NEVER!”

In light of this, Draco's supposed shot in the dark a couple of chapters ago that prompted Hermione to "confess" that she was in love with Harry couldn't have been as much a shot in the dark as portrayed.

That's no big deal - because Draco remains a conniving, lying SOB. It wouldn't take much to clean up.

I loved the argument and fisticuffs between Draco and Harry. Both are at fault, tough not equally so, both had their reasons, some better than others... So very entertaining! Of course I was reminded of the many police procedurals where the two detectives keep butting heads over small and big matters while working on the same case. More! Give us more!

I got the impression that compared to previous chapters, Draco is a bit more of a villain in this one... More in line with his Hogwarts personality. He consistently chooses not to resist temptations, always strives to give trouble to others, keeps losing his cool... Needless to say I prefer this baser version of Draco many times over. Because it will be all the more sweeter when he gets his due. However, one line in the Blaise flashback gave me pause:

---“That all the shite they drummed into our small heads when we were too young to know any better was just that; shite?” It was a question he had often asked himself, never really wanting to say the answer outright.---

I don't think this is very compatible with having been friends with Hermione for years. It's one thing to have different opinions in matters of politics or personal preferences, but the pureblood bigotry is baseless and stupid and I don't think you can have sincere friendship with that in the way. An otherwise decently clever character would not believe that tripe, not for one second... Not after puberty at least!

There are a couple new plot lines begging to be resolved, a longer list of people deserving comeuppance... Forget about Cadmus... Hanes and Draco need spanking!



Hermione's sudden appearance at the Ministry (though where did Tonks disappear to? Was she still in Hanes' office?), and Luna's note, were positively hilarious. Though, I keep not liking Luna, perhaps because there was no Luna chapter to show us what she's like... I guess not understanding Luna is an essential part of her character... I'll keep disliking her then!

sweet mother of god that has got to be the best story iv ever seen on this site. i actually couldn't stop reading! the way that events are told from multiple perspectives is something that the originals lacked, and i love it! story line is brilliant too.

i have to say the picture that u'v painted of hermione is different from usual, but strangely i think it fits. it makes her more human

When I saw the update I nearly fell out of my bed I was so excited! Your Draco is so awesome. And OMG Harry KNOWS! I NEVER would of thought that it would come out that way! Eeeee!!!!

“When?! When she was with me? When she was out with you?! Ron?! Cadmus would have never stood a chance!” I totally think he would have had a chance when she was with Ron. I know Harry is Harry of course he wouldn't have a chance, and Draco (besides all the dissing they do to him in he books) I believe is really smart and as you've mentioned in your fic, a good auror. But Ron? Please.

Oh my gosh, the fight. SO awesome. I loved it and when Harry did wandless magic even while upside down and falling he was still impressed with him!

Oh man, Draco covering his willy. Funny stuff. And the face touching and the slaming the wall. Angst galore! Well, I'm glad Draco trying to twist the knife didn't work.

And telling Harry to suck something was so funny AND to remind him of his wife.

I had no problem wanting to read this, I didn't even not think about doing it. Not even for a milisecond. Can't wait for the next chapter. I'm hoping that the "disastrous results, and the Potters go BOOM!" means exactly what I want them to mean. And what I'm hoping is that it doesn't work and that their relationship implodes with what she does!

Of all the chapters in all the fic in all the world this has to be the two that have moved me to care more about a canon character that is not h/hr then before. canon draco was neither here nor there, imo. never hated, never liked, never cared but reading these last two chapters i've thoroughly enjoyed his fleshing out in this story. bratty, vain, snotty and cocksure are all characteristics you played up charmingly. and not negatively. kudos. you took what jkr offered and bent it into a rather lovely hilarious shape. the mark of a great fic author.

the h/hr was entirely sweet and tender and fiery and all that's great in their world and i cannot thank you or your dna enough for creating the excellent imagination that is yours. at first though honestly i found it a tad difficult to view the intimacy of their exchanges in the ministry hallway through the viewpoint of draco. it was like he was intruding and maybe spoiling it a bit.
but then i thought on it some and absolutely loved the idea of draco being the only person that harry and hermione feel comfortable enough showing those kinds of emotions in front of. and they certainly were showing plenty with hell to the consequences!
a little thing like that is enough to endear me to this damn fic forever. the surprises are wonderful. i'm sure of your fearlessness in writing but never waver to take it wherever you want to...this story is so solid i'd follow it anywhere. even to a blonde hermione...

You always blow my theories to Hell. And here I thought you were going to have Cadmus kidnap Hermione.

I don't much like D/Hr, but it was predictably wonderfully written - and it was, quite frankly, a relief. I was beginning to think you had given this up. It's been a long, long time between updates, lately.

This story is as good as I remembered it to be! I was getting all nostalgic in the new year and decided..what the hay, let me check up on pandie (hope the old year was good to you and yours ) and to my surprise the story was updated!! He knows now!!! What an awesome way to kick off the new year! I can't wait to see how everything finally happens...

The story is simply superb. I have been waiting for your update(selfish of me...) but your story is so good. I liked most of the chapters in this story very much. I still can\'t believe how you are able to write such long full of mystery plots
whereas most of the stories in all fanfiction sites are very small compared to yours.
