I decided to check out some of your other work after reading "Without You, There is Nothing", and I'm certainly impressed by your writing and the world you're attempting to create. I'll really be looking forward to seeing how the finished product comes together and seeing how Harry's mission and the final battle come about.
At last, a Harry that we can all get behind! And that he has the sense to fall for Hermione, well, that just icing on the cake!

I'm glad you decided to rewrite those certain parts. The changes worked out really well I think and it is very believable and fits into the story well.
If the rest of the story is like your samples you have posted, then I'm sure to be reading it all when you get it up and running.
And you already know that I'm the type to like to know things in advance so showing parts of it won't bother me one bit. In fact it enhances things for me that there are not going to be in nasty surprises.

Author Feedback: I'm glad you liked it, and I have to admit, I much prefer those changes too. Easier on the concience that way. I'm hammering away at it as fast as possible, it's moving right along but it'll still be awhile before I'm ready to start posting the main story.
In a way, I kinda feel bad that I posted this stuff so early, but I wanted to know what people thought. And if it was worth trying to make a novel length story.

Since I am an American, I don't know anything about Torchwood. It is not available on BBC America, at least not in my area. Even though I don't know anything about all that, I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and I do ship Harry/Hermione. This story is absolutely wonderful. I hope you start the "real" story very soon. I can hardly wait. Can you give us any idea as to the start of your story? Great story!!! |

I'm glad you liked it and if you want to know more about where the story is going, the Challenge I posted is here (http://talk.portkey.org/index.php?showtopic=27017) It's got the synopsis. Now, my story is a bit different now, it evolved and changed. But that's the basics.
