This is simply brilliant, the detail draws a perfect picture without becoming boring as some descriptions in other stories tend to become. I love your story! Then again there are very few of yours that I dislike. :-) What an interesting concept, the New World. I don't believe that I have read a fic like this or with this theme before so to me it is a completely original story. Can't wait to read more about the flame-haired woman... which makes me wonder, if purebloods are the only ones who benefit from this New World then do the Weasley's have a new place in society? Interesting, interesting...update soon! Update Marriage of Convenience soon too. I love that story as well.  |
Author Feedback: I'm surprised. I thought that an idea like this would have been done several times before, but I am happy to be mistaken.
Ginny is going to be very funny in this fic. I can't wait to properly bring her in, but for now it's just Draco telling the story.
As for the Weasleys, they do indeed have a higher standing in this society, but most of the Weasleys have fought against this, which is why they ever fled the country, were imprisoned, or died in the war. More on that in the next chapters though.
I'm torn between wanting to work on this fic and wanting to get A Marriage of Convenience finished. I'll see how I go though. |

Author Feedback: Lol, yes indeed she is, in more ways than one.
I always wanted to write a story where after the war the world has only progressed for the worse. I just decided that instead of taking the depressing route that I originally was going to take, I'll take a comedic route instead. The ideas will be grim, but the way I write it probably won't be.
I'm not sure when I'll next be updating this, as I am still dedicated to finishing a Marriage of Convenience, but this one is definitly staying and will be finished when I get the time for it. |

Hello again moogle! I thought I would give this story a go, and boy was I suprised! It was totally different to what I thought it would be. In a good way of course!  I love utopian society stories this one kind of reminds me of Prince Caspian with the oppression of the narnian creatures, except this uprising happened within 10 years not 1300 lol It was very descriptive and quite sad the way the muggles, muggleborns, and the halfbloods are being treated, I wish Draco would be the one to end the oppression, that would be really fitting. Great job so far! |
Author Feedback: Hehe, think everyone will get a shock, but despite the slightly depressing tone of the first chapter, it is a comedy. Just a very.... odd comedy.
I've always wanted to write this story, but when I first planned it, I ended up not liking it. It was just going to be too dramatic for my tastes, so a lot has been changed for this, but the world stays the same.
I find it interesting that you say it's like Prince Caspian (which I love... and more specifically him, ) as another reviewer thought it was like the Holocaust. In any case, I'm really just taking the general idea of what happens to segregated people and building from that.
I'm not saying anything on Draco's role in this, but I'm sure by now you know what my writing is like  |

hmmmm.....interesting start. Sort of reminds me of the beginnings of the holocaust. I take it Draco ran into Ginny? It's a good start tho, some thing different which is always good. keep it up!!!  |
Author Feedback: I took in bits and pieces of different segregation things, such as the Jews being seperated with a wall (in this case a black gate), and blue cloaks instead of stars, but I'm not going to go too heavily into the depressing side of things in this fic. It won't be a genocide case, but the situation of the muggleborns will come into it, just not in a way most people would expect.
