huh, nicely done and i'm glad that neville realized that ginny was a bit off fairly quickly- well, sort of and at least he had a kid from the marriage
i loved the kismet series, ginny was delightfully nuts and there was a wonderful view of harmony that i could feel somewhat smug about to see

awww, i love the kismet series. let it be noted that this is still at "in-process" ... =] i dunno if its just cause you have other plans for it, or not. just thought id point it out =]
anyhow... its so hard to hate ginny in your kismet series. i kinda actually feel sorry for her... as hard it is to feel sorry for her. =] haha. i used to like ginny... until i realised the amazing-ness of harmony.

Lol... she's got high hopes... still. I really liked this series, it was interesting seeing it from her point of view... you don't really see much of these, do you? I'll try to keep up with the prequel, and some of the other stories that you've been writing, but since I started college already, it's become a bit hectic to. But, as always, love the writing, love the story... you are brilliant. Thanks for the story. |

Author Feedback: i'm glad that you prefered it being a series of one-shots rather than a fic as i felt that they could stand on their own and... well, idk, for some reason i just didnt liek the idea of it all beign a story as it outlined diff points in ginny's life, and in a way her transformation (as well as mine in how i percieved her). so, anyway, thanks so much for the reassurance as far as that descision is concerned
i'm glad that your anger with her melted with this fic b/c that was deffinitley my hope, it's actually what i went through while writing it. i wanted to skip to her "very formidable" years but once you do that there really isnt much comedy int he idea of STILL holding on, is there?
as far as her perseverence is concerned, well she's deffinitley loyal, that much can be said, at least

p.s. as far as harry is concerned, that's more so b/c in her eyes he's the boy-who-lived, perfection and whatever moments you do see or hear about them it's been distorted by her idea of how it really should be. it's like history, morphed by the stories of others, you cnat ever really be sure of what happened or how b/c how faithful to the facts are our recollections? |

I've loved this series. I guess I found my answer even though it wasn't what I thought. The day will never come when Ginny will see just how delusional she is and realize that Harry and Hermione are the ones meant to be. I look forward to reading Hermione's thoughts and if you could find a way I would love to see Harry's as well. |
Author Feedback: ii thought about havign her move on, i really did... but when i got to this piece, idk, i wanted ot try to bring a new side to this obsession of hers... i foudn that having ehr leave it would be harder than having her remain with it... plus, for some odd reason that is totally beyond me, i foudn it less logical and believeable

Oh silly me. I write a review for that then literally five seconds later check out the updated stories and find this. LOL. Well, I liked the way you ended it; it preserved the feeling of the series (clueless and selfish Ginny) while still finishing on a somewhat uplifting note (recognizing her sins).
If you do decide to write a prequel, I'd be pretty excited to read it |

Oh my! I must say that I am not that fond of canon Ginny but what you have her go through is just absolutely dreadful.
I would't wish that on my worst ennemy.
But you write it very well. Depending on the reader I guess you'll get sarcasm, pity or jubilation ... as for meI'll stick with pity.

Author Feedback: yeah, it is pretty terrible though, isnt it. i guess... this series started off as a bit of a joke with that first piece (kismet) and then with wilting it was a bit of "what if ginny tried to act on makking him her's," blasphemy was to sort of show the way in which she TRIES, and fails, to move on to whatever extent she can... and this, this was to bring a new side to her really... show just how terrible of a fate it was, all jokes aside with thsi one...
but you're right, the reaction to it changes as time goes on, and deffinitley fdiffers with reader, but, in part, that was an intentional reaction... i like that it can percieved in so many different sspectrums
as for me, however, i deffinitley hold your POV

Wow, this chick seriously needs a rubber room and a little white jacket with the funny sleeves that hook in the back. Way, Way, Way off her rocker that one. Great series though, I can totally see it happening the way you described it, Ginny definately strikes me as the crazy type of person who would do all this stuff and think it to be kismet.

Oh my, Ginny was crazy to her last breath, wasn't she? Too bad she couldn't learn to love Neville. I think they make a cute couple. My my, I'm glad to see that Harry and Hermione stayed together, and that Ginny (somewhat) realised her mistakes and problems. I knew you'd be able to continue this series, and you've finally delivered what I was waiting for - for Ginny to realise that Harry loves Hermione and not her. Too bad she couldn't figure that one out before she lost Neville, eh? As impossible as it seems, I sort of feel bad for Ginny. Herh aving delusions of grandure and whatnot.  ANYWAY, lovely story, and a wonderful ending to the 'Kismet' series. You've really done well. As for the prequel - I can't wait. |
Author Feedback: personally, I thought about having her "learn to love" Neville, b/c we can be in love with 2 people at once, but Harry would always trump nev in her eyes and that just wasn’t a fate that I wanted to put him through as I always liked his character.
As for Ginny, she realized it to whatever extent she could, that's true, she will never give up on Harry or her belief that they truly are meant for one another but she does address the fact that the manners in which she went about trying to get him were rather despicable
as for you feeling bad for her, I'[m glad to hear that. while this series did start off as a bit of a joke with kismet, the more I got into it and as the decades passed I hoped to bring whatever depth to her that I could. she is just a love struck girl that was blinded by her feelings, she never got closure of any sorts and that's what really did her in, in the end. she never had the chance to get over him or realize that maybe the "boy who lived" didn’t live to love her

It's sad really... she's the one that has been blind for 50 years, Harry and Hermione are meant to be, and she doesn't see it...
It's sadder (does that word exists? - spanish is my thing XD) that all of us will be like her, and even if I'm proud, Harry and Hermione didn't happen in canon, and we are stuck in this perfect parallel universe, at least it's perfect! ^^ And the blind one is Rowling... XD |
