Author Feedback: No, this is a sample chapter from my main Torchwood fic that I'm working on. The real version of this chapter, which will most likely be a little different when I finally get there, is probably gonna be like chapter 40 or something. And its the middle of the story.

I'm hoping to get back on Torchwood pretty soon, my muse left and I haven't been able to work on it for a while. But don't give up hope, I will not abandon this story!

Author Feedback: I'm not sure what your asking, so I'll just answer both. My Torchwood universe takes place during 2008. Because there are some specific technologies and a few movies I'd like Harry to take advantage of. Where Torchwood is I can't answer yet, but it will be in the main story of course.

Unless you meant the main story, and I'm afraid I have no ETA on that. I can promise I'm working every day on it. I'll start posting it as soon as I either get far enough ahead, or finish. I'm glad you liked the teasers and I hope you'll stick around for the main event!

Author Feedback: Don't worry, I haven't gone anywhere. I'm diligently working on this story. I've got over 38,000 words down so far, and I've not even gotten started.

As soon as my beta gets back to me, I'll be posting a sort of "Movie Trailer" for my story. It's called, "A Day in the Life of Torchwood." Hopefully it'll be giving a good glimpse of the Torchwood Universe and show everyone the kind of direction I'm gonna be going in. It'll have more action in it, and a preview of Harry's abilities and ways of taking down Death Eaters.

Now, like this story, it's a one shot, so keep an eye out for it on the New and Updated page. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before she gets back to me. I'll post as soon as she does. Hang in there and I'm glad you enjoyed it so far!

Author Feedback: Thanks! That's what I'm going for. And yeah, Harry will be telling Dumbledore exactly what he can go do with himself. On the 3rd page actually, but Dumbles will fire back, and Harry will fight back, against the DE's and the manipulative Dumbledore. There will be two wars going on, Torchwood versus Riddle and his minions, and Harry and Hermione versus Dumbledore and him trying to control Harry again.

Yeah, Torchwood is tired of the Hotel Azkaban trips that Dumbles seems to think works. So don't expect too many Stunners from Torchwood, or any Expelliarmus's either. There will be a real Final Battle, and it will ROCK! (Hopefully )

And yeah, other than making fun of certain 6&7 scenes, and modifying a couple of the very few good scenes, there won't be any references to 6&7. I'm with you, as far as I'm concerned, 6&7 didn't happen, because they were obviously written by someone other than the person who wrote 1-5.

There will be Weasley bashing, but like I said, Ginny and Ron won't be Death Eaters. While I do like those stories myself, since I can totally see those happening. I think it's more fun for Ron to act like a petulant, jealous, brat. The whole 4th year jealousy bit always struck me as a 3 year old, stomping off into a corner for a good pout. Not to say Ron won't be a severe prick, because he will be, and Harry will have to force himself not to kill Ron at times, and Ginny as well. There is a question I want to ask you, I'm gonna e-mail you about it.

Author Feedback: Sorry to dissapoint, but the only thing I've borrowed from the show is the name Torchwood itself. There isn't a team and this isn't a crossover fic. You can go to the Challenge on the Forum side and read for yourself what it's all about.

Author Feedback: No worries PJ, books 6 and 7 have nothing to do with my story. Just read my disclaimer, I mention that the series mysteriously ended at book 5 . At the most, I might have certain scenes that I liked, the couple that weren't complete ass, and change them to fit the story.

In particular, I think I might modify the "You're So Much More Fanciable, Harry" scene and the non verbal lesson in DADA when Harry zapped Snape and did the whole "You don't have to call me sir, Professor". But, rest assured, Snape will NOT be the DADA teacher and he won't be a good guy either. Damn Git, Hate Snivellus Snape. There are no Horcruxes (which I think are retarded) or Deathly Hollows (I think they were kinda cool, but way too powerful and way too late) Harry will still have his cloak of course, but it'll be just like it was in books 1-5, his father's cloak, but nothing special. No magical Cliff's notes Half Blood Prince potion book, Harry will do better in Potions, but only because he throws himself into his studies.

And worry not, there WILL be Ginger Weasel bashing, Ginny and Ron will not be major players, nor will they be friendly what so ever. I don't think I'll make them Death Eaters, but they WILL be severe assholes, Harry and Hermione will quickly stop hanging around Ron and actively avoiding Ginny. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it convincing and not just drop them though. I'd like to make it believable at least. But there will be lots of Ginger Bashing, the only good Weasleys are the older males, besides Percy the twit.

Unfortunately, no ETA as yet, I'm about 7 chapters in so far, and it's only the 4th day, and Harry's been unconscious for 3 of those days. So this is probably gonna be a long book. I'm probably gonna write a head for a while, and then start posting before I'm completely finished, I'll see how it goes.

(p.s. While it is certainly similar to Batman, at least parts anyway, I'm gonna be actually killing baddies, not just beating them up and chucking them in Azkaban, that's what Dumbles does, Torchwood doesn't bother with forgivness, he just kills them.)

Though, I gotta warn you, when I start posting the story, it'll be a while before it gets to this chapter. Though, there won't be to much angst, I like a little, but I can't take too much. Author Feedback: No, I totally agree, I love your review. I want constructive criticism, makes me a better writer.

I wasn't entirely sure on the R rating, it wasn't the Innuendo really, it was more the language is the reason I picked it. I'm not entirely sure if an F Bomb will preclude an automatic R rating or not. I'll check the forums and probably change it.

Turns out that since I used the F Bomb three times, it would make it an R rated fic. And since my real story will more than likely be NC-17 because of sex and violence, it isn't too bad.

It's not really a missing moment, what it is, is probably the 40th chapter or so of my Torchwood fic, and that's about half way. I'm really not kidding on the length, I've written 6 chapters so far, and it's not that far in. I had the idea of writing out specific scenes that keep comming to mind, if for no other reason, so I don't have to think about them anymore. I had pictured this moment almost since I started writing the fic, so I wrote this "chapter" to get it out of my head. Which it worked, and since I needed a sample fic for an application, I used this. And I know there are a few things that weren't explained, basically this scene is what happens after Harry and Hermione left the ball, at the dance, Harry tells her he needs to speak to her, and the most secure place in Hogwarts is the Room of Requirement. The sword I wanted Harry to wear, because this time, Harry's wearing more of a dress uniform than just dress robes. The suit he's wearing has the Potter Family crest on the back and the Black Family Crest on the left shoulder. And I wanted a sword to kind complete the outfit, I was going for a formal dress uniform of a Lord or Officer. Though Harry isn't either in this story. Hope I didn't confuse you more.

Yeah, I know Harry's being hard on himself, but I wrote this the way I would have done it had I been bareing all to the girl I loved. So basically, I would have picked at every little thing I had done and made them worse. And no, Mad Eye didn't count
