Okay I just wanted to tell you that, this was the most amazing story I've read, until this chapter. Can you guess why? ya, it's because you didn't have the love scene. It completely destroyed the story. If I wanted to read blocked out and skipped over love scenes, I would have read a G, PG, or PG-13 listed story. The biggest mistake an author can make is not having a simple love scene. Or not updating very fast. But in this case, it was the first. Remember your rating.

Don't mind me just adding this to my favourites list so I'll be able to find it again.

I've been around this fandom a long time. I rarely review - mostly because I get disgusted with the sort of writing that I see, even on sites like PK which are supposedly screened for writing ability/ and basic use of the English language. Regardless, I generally think that there's nothing more that can be achieved on PK, what with the strict rules and the presence of so many fangirls who r jus w8ting 4 H n Hr 2 get 2getha, u no????? And no matter how good a story is, I find that there's always an element of that in there, if only to satisfy the fangirls.

Your story is not one of those. I have rarely read such a well thought-out, original, IN CHARACTER future fic as yours.

Sure, the idea has been done to death - Harry is in love wth Hermione, has to go off and find himself, ends up living like a Muggle, as a spy, with a tatt and a short haircut and no glasses etc etc. However, even with all that legacy, you still managed to write a story that kept me spellbound, that I could SEE following on from canon, that didn't jar, and that I'm actually in the process of RE-reading, because I can't get enough of it.

This fic just radiates anguish. You can feel it coming off the page in waves (I print them out), and it's believable. Some of the prose between the main canon characters is excellent; again, some of the best I've seen written. The tension you build up doesn't abate, even when the two get together (as, inevitably, they must) - and their manner of getting together is really, really hot. Again, I think of myself as jaded, and you don't even get that explicit when it comes to the jumping of bones - and yet I found it all the more titillating for what you implied rather than outright wrote (I, unfortunately, can't say the same for the thing's I've written...). And the denouement in the final chapter, while again reflecting so many H/Hr fics with the great confession and "oh, haven't we been bloody stupid?", still managed to do it in a fresh way that had me thinking - "yeah, if JKR didn't have her head firmly wedged up her backside, I could see her writing this." More than that, I could see the natural progression of the canon characters doing that. Not only that, you left no loose ends in terms of plot (well, except for Hermoine walking in to "work" barefoot, but whatever... ) and what Harry did actually end up doing was startling, original, and highly entertaining, of only for the Muggle characters yo introduced, who were again well-rounded and believable. Those sorts of characters can end up as Mary Jane as we try no to make the canon characters if one is not careful - but you wrote them beautifully.

Thank you for this fic - it has managed to rekindle my fast-abating interest in this fandom. IAnd even thogh I rarely read stories with a lower rating than R (call me a dirty old bastard), I'll be sure to check out your other fics.

I enjoyed this story much, much more than words could ever describe.
It's a very well-written and well-structured story that without a doubt will always be in my top ten Harmony fanfiction list.
It gave me great pleasure to read, and i was honestly grumpy for an entire week when it ended. Not because i didn't enjoy the ending, of course, it was superb, jut like the whole story, but because i never wanted to finish reading this brilliant work.
So thank you very much for providing me such a great time!

That ending was great. I thought you were going to have something lame like "they get married and have kids and are happy" but instead you made them a team in the Unit. It works out really well with the questions raised in the fic and also just feels like a great conclusion for this specific story.

A very brilliant story. What a shame it has to end. It would be great if this story developed to a series of Harry and Hermione's mission.
Good Job!!!! Harry's explanation on his feeling after the war is my fav. dismissing the wretched epilogue that's the most likely to happen. I love it.

I would sure like to see the conversation between Ron and Harry! I love how you've written the dialogue in this chapter, and throughout the story!

Well, I'll say it again-- you definitely outdid yourself on this one. What a fabulous, neat, story.
The ending did surprise me a little. I hadn't quite settled on the idea of the Unit, so I found it interesting that both Harry and Hermione stayed with the unit. I'm not sure if I think Hermione would be alright with joining a cause like that, since she doesn't really believe in Divination and tends to look for the good in all types of people, but I don't know for sure.
Of course, I still liked the ending! It was very unique, like the rest of the story.

I like "Bad Boy" Harry, (of course our Harry is a sweetie!!)and I rejoyed this story, but I was disappointed with the ending.

I really wanted to see Harry go back to the Magical world for good and be with Hermione. Enough of the spy business. I really did not like seeing Hermione going to work in the Unit....didn't see that coming.

Other than the ending, you had me intrigued!!
