I would have reviewed every chapter if I could, because this story certainly deserved praise for every single part of it, but I couldn't bring myself to take the time when I was so dying to read more. This was so good. I LOVED your plot, it was great, and you built up the H/Hr so gradually it was perfect. Well done on an amazing story.

It's quite late (did I really stay up until three in the morning reading this?) so my thoughts are a bit too scattered, but I wanted to write a quick note letting you know how much I enjoyed this. It's always a pleasure to read a Harry Potter story with an adult plot -- and not in the porn-ish way.

Your characterizations of Harry and Hermione were among the best I've ever read. And this might be strange to say, but I rather enjoyed how you wrote Crookshanks, too. It's a little thing, but I always appreciated how much personality JKR injected into the 'pets' in her series, but I rarely see that in fanfic.

I also took a look at your LJ and found the companion piece to this in Harry's POV. I hope that you choose to share that here someday, as I'm certain a lot of people would be very interested in reading it. I think, in terms of pure writing quality, that might have been your best work yet. It was extremely evocative. It's quite hard to writing from the point of view of a character who is 'brooding' without them seeming to be melodramatic or, worse, sulking. You managed to make Harry's internal musings seem both thoughtful and realistic, which is an accomplishment.

So I think this is the third time I've read this story and it just totally sticks in my mind. I made a playlist of all the songs and they are so fitting! I really hope your writing a sequel to this because I can't get enough of a tatted rough and tough Harry and I really want to see what 'Sirius' and 'Lily' are up to!

Hee! I love the fact that they listen to the same music people of our age actually DO listen to, not just some obscure wizarding band. And Crookshanks bolting when Hermione goes to dance with him cracks me up, I can just imagine him watching her come drunkenly towards him and going 'oh, HELL no!' My own cats would do exactly the same, they always turn their ears back and look disturbed enough just when I sing at 'em!
You know, I've started the Harry pic, but he's so sexy in this scene I think I'm gunna change it... him and Hermione drunkenly relaxing back on the couch might be better

Without a doubt, one of the best fanfics that I've read. I've just gotten back to the HP fandom, and wow.. what a way to jump back into reading fiction. Your story is truly good. I enjoyed it immensely, and Harry with tattoos just.. yum. I like the plot, and the secret rendevous. I'll be sure to read your other stories.

First, I want to apologize for waiting so long to review the end of this fic. This is definitely a fic I will never tire of re-reading. Everything about this story is so vivid and real, and the tension, anxiety, and unwavering love were captured so perfectly that I completely felt as though I could identify and empathize with Hermione, even if I've never actually felt all of things she has before.

A part of me wondered how Hermione could seriously doubt Harry's love for her, but then I suppose we all have our fears and misconceptions when it comes to things like that. I really liked the fact that you had Hermione join the Unit as well, I wasn't really expecting that little twist.

I just read your companion pieces for this fic on your lj and I absolutely loved them. God...you're killing me with all the lovely angst!

'Everything, is for her. And even if she didn’t want you anymore, everything would still be. You would still follow her anywhere, whether she knew it or not. Just to sit at her window.'

I love that last paragraph of At Her Window. I was practically a blubbering mess at the end of that one. Sometimes I find it somewhat difficult or even annoying to read 2nd person POV, but I really enjoyed both pieces and they have got to be some of the best of that type that I've ever read (up there with Parker's stuff).
