Another great chapter this story is really getting good cant believe that Harry and Ginny didn't notice how badly she looked. Keep up the good work. Can't wait for the next chapter.

I'm not sure I totally buy into the premise here, but I'm willing to give it a shot. By your authors note I'm guessing this is the kind of story that can't really be judged until the end; when the resolution makes things clear.

It's an interesting position you have placed Hermione in. As hard as it is to believe that she would endure an abusive marriage (or that she would marry Krum to begin with), I find her not talking to Harry for six years even more far-fetched. Surely, they would have reconciled after their little spat?

At any rate, I'm going to give this a shot. I'm quite interested in reading how you manage to weave all of this together. Depsite my reservations about the plot, the writing is well-done.

Well, I think wanting to stay true to the characters and putting Hermione in this situation kind of clash, don't you think? Of course this might have happened to her, but the Hermione from the books wouldn't have let Krum abuse her for six years, and making an housewife out of her. She would have realized her mistake, and she would have left him long ago.

Now, since Harry didn't, I'm going to say it. He told you so, Hermione. Maybe you should have listened, uh?

As for guessing what is going to happen...no, I don't think I can. Unless you plan to have Harry kick Viktor's ass, that's what I would do if I were the author of this story.

god! i hate that victor krum! srew what i said before that wow..this is something new and finally hermione not with ron but for heaven's sake! it would be better if she was with ron at first! at least she won't be experiencing this! god i hate victor krum!! he's so...so...not good looking and weird for heaven's sake!! ahh! i can't wait for them to break up! please let them breake up already! and oh! i hate the idea of ginny and harry as well! yuck!

I completely agree with your author's note... the last few paragraphs of this story really got me thinking about what would realistically happen if Hermione got married to Krum (or *could* realistically happen) and what her life might be like.

At first the idea of an abusive marriage made me uncomfortable but I think you've handled the material really well and haven't treated the seriousness of it inappropriately. Exactly. The situations people have to face make them change. It's really not her fault. Hermione fell blindly in love. Now there is no hope for her. She's all alone in Bulgaria. Who is she going to turn to. I agree with you wholeheartedly on that. I feel really sorry for Hermione. And this chapter was great. Good job! Can't wait for the next installment.

I love this story so far. And I totally agree with your Authors note at the end of this chapter (chapter 2). It's like that saying..."Bad things happen to good people." well bad things happen to everyone, including brilliant people like Hermione. =)

So, it appears Harry and Ginny are together. I actually don't mind it in this story. There was no reason for Harry to sit there and pine for Hermione when she treated him so horribly at her wedding and basically threw him out of her life. It's refreshing to see that his life went on and he didn't self-destruct like in so many other fics I have read. I am wondering how quickly Harry will drop Ginny once Hermione shows up on his doorstep (if that happens in this story). How long before he turns to his saving people thing.

I do have one question - was Harry in Bulgaria during the past six years? I only ask that becuase Harry mentioned about Bulgaria being beautiful. I wondered if he'd been there looking for her or something.

I am not surprised that Hermione would get herself into a predicament like this. She has always been very stubborn and determined to prove she is right and everyone else is wrong. SO, I could see her finding herself in this situation because she was too proud or stubborn to admit she'd made a mistake.

However, it would be interesting to see someone actually enlighten Hermione to the fact that Harry was right all those years ago and she refused to listen. Someone to actually tell her that how interesting that NOW that she'd been proven wrong and had gotten herself into this mess, she was going to turn to Harry to get her out of it (again, if that is the route you take).

I like the story so far its great and they r all in good character. I wasn't expecting harry to speak to hermione so easily again after being kicked out of her wedding so that surprised me somewat... update soon, I wanna read wat happens next

I love that Harry was right, even if at the time he didnt know what was going to happen and lost his best Friend for his suspicions. Great Job! i Cant wait for an update!
