Well, it's a good start. I guess you will be starting with H/G still going, right? I thought rona nd Hermione were together too at a certain point, but then you said they broke up. Still, they flirt and such, or so you said, and i'm not totally sure I like that.  |

Don't worry too much about Ron and Hermione flirting, it's harmless and more to show their close friendship than anything else. Okay, I am liking your version of 7th year - nice opening chapter, loved how the Weasley kids were hiding from their formidable mum. I also enjoyed the flashback to Ron & Hermione's mutual decision to not move forward with their relationship. Now, if we can only get Harry to "see" Hermione, the world would be perfect! I am looking forward to reading how you will develop the characters further, so please updae soon! Keep up the great job! |

Ok so other than setting up the anti-R/Hr deal this chapter isn't that different from canon.
I guess just not a whole lot happened here and while the writing is good just kinda a "meh" plot thus far. Rewriting DH is something anyone can do and just have them pair up in the end or in the middle after Ron splits (if you still have him split).
You can still have the Horcrux/Hallow hunts and all that but make them different somehow... like to where it makes sense unlike JKR's was. |

That was a really abrupt about-face for Ronnikins. I was stunned by his perception too. JKR didn't make him that deep. But that's okay. I like Likable!Ron better than Pouting!Canon!Ron anyway. Keep writing. |

This is pretty good. Can't say much more, as it's only been a single chapter. Still, the fic is much better than almost all of the other Year 7 rewrites that I've read.

I really like it so far, although I'm not entirely sure Ginny's a good leader of the DA. And I wish Harry would point out that yes, Ginny did go through the COS stuff, she was in a trance half the time, and while that doesn't lessen what happened, she's only been in 1 battle (DOM) and was taken out rather early, and she's still underage so it's still Molly and Arthur's decision, not Harry's. |
