I love this story already and I must say, it\'s one of a kind! I\'ve never read a story with a plot like this and, surprisingly, it\'s just the story I wanted!

Must you always to stories that end up with Lily and James breaking up? It's getting my rather depressed.

awwwwwwwww!!!!!! that was the most prettiest ending ever!!!!!!!! Gosh this is another good story!!!! it was really good especially this part"Lily,” he sighed, leaning his forehead against her own as he closed his eyes. “You need me, Lils; you need me as much as I need you. We can work,” he promised, “We can do it. Everything's a learning experience and this can only make us stronger. That's what they always say in those ruddy chick flicks you con me into watching. Why can't you follow their example when you love them so much?”
“Because—because I've been there—felt the pain.”
He winced slightly before opening his eyes. “I love you, Lils,” he whispered before crushing her lips with his own in a searing, toe curling, shag-me-for-days-on-end worthy kiss.
She couldn't help, but respond, it had become a reflex after all those years with him—all that time spent loving him. She let the tears free as she poured her heart into the kiss, trying to use it as a release for all the pain she'd felt over the years—all the hell that they'd wrought upon one another, each screwing up in their own way.
She used it as a means of discharging all that pent up aggression towards the fates for having mucked everything up for them.
He pulled away, slowly wiping away the tears. “Don't cry,” he whispered, “please don't cry.” " It felt like i was watching a frikin soap opera, it was tense! I absolutely
ed it. Keep writing!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow that was great. I am glad they are back together. I thought it was sad that they'd given up but maybe they needed that. Anyway I thought you wrote it well and I am glad Lily realised that some of it is her fault as well and admitted to that.

Oook, so in the end they are together again, how nice! The only problem I see with that is that Lily's behaviour doesn't make sense to me. I mean, for eleven chaps she's thrown all his mistakes in his face, then he finally decides to leave, and she's dumbfounded (bloody hell, woman, what else did you expect?) and hurt that he did...then here again she doesn't seem to want to go back with him because she's afraid of the hurt...I really don't understand her.

Another thing that I didn't like is that we don't know much of how Lily felt during that time apart. I mean, James admitted realizing life without her was hell, but what about Lily? I think she should have been the one to miss him more, just so that she may truly understand the mistake she made asking for a divorce. She deservd that for hurting him.

In the end, I would have preferred they hadn't split up at all, but if they truly needed to split, this is not exactly the way I'd have written their reunion, I'd have had Lily be the one wanting to get back together, and James resisting her just so that she would have had to fight to go back with him, like she deserved.

I know i said i wouldn't mind if they didn't get back together, but maybe now i'm thinking a little differently. i guess, as long as they both end up happy in the story. sigh, i eargerly await the last chap.

OMG it's really over for them. How sad. I think you did a good job of making it realistic though and they remembered good stuff as well as the bad. It sounds like both of them still care about eachother but just not enough to stay together. You did a great job with this story I enjoyed reading it and am looking forward to reading the epilouge.

Great chapter. I liked the scene with Lily at her parents funeral.
