I'm really enjoying this story so far. You have a *believable* redeemed Dudley. He isn't perfect like I've seen some authors make him. Harry and Hermione's relationship is very spot on. I also enjoyed Harry and Ron's confrontation.

Also, yay for undead!Remus!

An update well worth waiting for! Really enjoyable- Mary is adorable. Ally is quite lovable too. I love how you described Dudley and Mary at the door, not to mention poor confused Harry.

I'm so glad you are continuing this. It is the most unique story idea I've seen in a while.

I really liked the way you handled Ron and Hermione's breakup (as background), and the way you alluded to canon in the Deathly Shallows.

The scene in the kitchen was very sweet and Harry still has not realized how much he cares for her. The part where they were finishing each others dialogue was more reminiscent of Fred and George, but it was well done.

The scene where Harry and Dudley meet was deftly handled and came across as with all the awkwardness one might expect given their history. Hermione's coldness was rather unexpected, but understandable.

There were a few typos and errors in numbers, ie celery and broccoli. The sentence should have read, "They had some bell pepper, carrots, celery and broccoli." Nevertheless, I am enjoying this very much. I hope you cleared your block and we see an end to this great story.

Best lines - I especially liked when HArry called Ron out on a lot of his shit in the past.

"I dunno. Hermione's fragile, I suppose."
"Hermione? Fragile! Harry, this is the girl who bloody punched Malfoy in third year!"
"Ron, she's also the girl who bawled in the girl's loo when a certain git called her some names. Twice....My Hermione is the strongest woman I know. But she has a more vulnerable side to her..."

"You're like a book, Harry. And you know me; I'm a bibliophile."

In the following lines, I like the way they speak sans words. Did Ally notice too? Of course she did, she's a woman and mother in new territory - she's observing everything to see how things affect her family.

She turned and spoke to him with her eyes. Why is he here?
Harry gestured to his cousin. He'll explain.
His friend raised an eyebrow. Better be a good explanation.

Good lord, I don't know why you're complaining about flames. Everyone who writes about RHr without the use of love potions deserves to be flamed, end of story. You know that when you start. It's par for the course. If you need it for your story, then get used to receiving it alright? We'll flame your story and then perhaps keep reading it. That's our job. Your job is to write the best damn story you can and not worry about the pathetic words we throw at you, even if we are right.

This is getting to be a veyr interesting story. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds. There's obviously a lot of "baggage" to deal with. Thanks for the update.
