Sad ending. I guess this followed most of the movie plot, so you couldn't have made it more happy, but if you could have, I would have liked it more. |
Author Feedback: If I made it a happy ending, it would be too much of a cliche...though now it is a cliche with the sad ending, even if it's less so...but yeah, the idea was to stick as close to the movie as possible. |

Wow!!!! such an emotional story... i really loved it though, i could picture it all in my head from the movie...
Something that confused me though - how comes sometimes Hermione was 'Hermione' but other times she was called 'Rose'??? i know thats the movie but *confused face*

Author Feedback: Wow, thanks for pointing that out...really, an embarrassing mistake on my part...I was watching the movie, reading the script, and writing at the same time to keep the chronology straight...I apologize, and to change it, I have to remove everything up to chapter 1, which would include your review, and I don't quite want to do that...
Still, I'm glad you liked it...thanks for reading and reviewing, and I'm sorry for putting Rose, instead of Hermione...it's chapter 2 and 4 that have the mistake. And I was a bit pressured for time, since exams are in full swing, so that might have contributed to that stupid, stupid mistake... |

Hmm, sounds like a good start to fitting HP to Titanic. I see that there's a lot of discussion these days as to whether or not less suitable rivets were used to join the hull plates at the bow and stern than in the center where, normally, the most stresses would be encountered (supposedly this was the result of the demand with three sister ships, Titanic, Olympic, and Brittanic, being built simultaneously). In any case, I presume Harry's going to fit the poor young man role? |
Author Feedback: The truth is, anything even resembling HP is not part of the Titanic story...the only common ground is the names, as I've tried to stick to the original plot as much as possible...but I'm not saying it's impossible to involve more magic...I could do it, but it would become a lot more complicated than it already is...
I've heard of the controversy about the rivets...the Olympic class ships were supposed to outclass Cunard's vessels and put White Star ahead of the game...of them, only the Olympic had a sizable career...the Titanic was sunk by an iceberg, and the Britannic impacted a mine...
And yes, Harry will be the poor young man. |

The story does not follow the plot of the movie to the minutest detail, but it sticks pretty close...otherwise I'd have Harry accio the ship and carry it to new york on his firebolt...which isn't a half bad idea. |
