What a very good beginning to a story. it has let me wanting more. I am not that big of a Harry/Ginny ship, but this seems so very interesting. This story just shows how of a betrayer she can really be. Now it is time to move onto the next one.

and yes i will be continuing, finally finished the entire series with the last segment yesterday actually (wilting, blasphemy,eidetic, princesses)

Bit touched the in the head, isn't she? I mean, I know people that take some interest on all that jazz, but they don't really do it...
and I didn't really liked the way it ended... It was like it was crystal clear that they're weading was going to fail, or something... Not cool.
You should have writed, as the last chapter, that 20 years later, with 3 kids, Ginny started to think that perhaps there was a slightly possibility that maybe the charms or the signs weren't exactly 100% correct... hm, maybe...
But overall, great chapter. Brilliant fic. Keep going !!! |
Author Feedback: well, see, the thing is, in my mind at least, Harry and Hermione will live happily ever after, there's no doubt of that one, it's just that, realistically speaking, given what she was like throughout the entire fic, she'd hold onto him dropping that ring, delluding herself into believing that they're marriage is doomed even when it's not.
as for that epilogue of sorts, well i considered it, i really did, but somehow whenever i try i just cant seem to write something that would integrate well into this fic, it's just not up to par and i cant post something that's so inferior to the original, you know?

I would love to read a sequel where it's like 20 years later and Harry and Hermione have three grown children and Ginny is still interpreting the 'signs' and waiting out the marriage. Just because she would totally do that - maybe with her bringing around procession of 'fake' boyfriends to make Harry jealous and a few failed love potions. It would be great if if was from Hermione's point of view - because she'd totally know how delusional Ginny really is...Harry, of course, wouldn't have a clue. |
