Wow... I really like that! It was a whole extended metaphor where Harry and Hermione were books. That was really cool! Nice work! |

Mary Caroline this short story is excellent. Poor Hermione in her ruined library, maybe thinking she's insane hearing the screams of the bleeding books. Harry gets it and puts Hermione at ease because he's her fierce friend... Then YOU get US with those last couple of lines.
I know we'd all love to see a new ending for one particular bloody book at least.
Keep on writing! |

The simply beautiful beauty of simplicity.
I think that resumes your storie quite nicely.
But that's just me, so...**shrugs** |

Wow, what a great little one-shot. Love the concept, love the dialogue and the tenderness behind it. Seriously impressed, I'll be checking out your other work now... |

Wierd...yes, but also undeniable one of the coolest one shots I've ever read. The imagery your words conjured up were both powerful and beautiful in its simplicity. Very well done...very well done indeed. |

I do not understand why this fic only has 11 reviews. So I'm reviewing again. Everything about this ficlet is unique and creative. Love it. |

This is one of the more interesting post-DH stories I've seen. Yes, it was a little odd, but I rather liked it. Naturally, I'd like to see some sort of continuation, but really, this works just the way it is. Well done. |

I'm trying to gather my thoughts on this story. This was a uniquely clever story. I would never have thought of this particular story with the library and its damage, nor the pain the books felt.
The story wasn't heavy with emotion, dragging one down, but held just enough sadness that you felt the pain of the moment but there was so much future demonstrated in Harry's thoughts that you knew it would all be okay.
I loved the lines about the books not remembering their endings because of the damage and that they would need new ones, just as Harry and Hermione would need a new ending.
I loved the concept of the book being alive and feeling pain because a large part of me believes that stories must be alive in some way because they breath so much emotion/feelings into us. Only life could bring forth so much more life.
Fabulous job! |

A very interesting premise! I like the idea of Hermione not just reading the books, but somehow hearing them whispering their secrets to her. Maybe that's why she knows so much I can sort of see where this could be continued, but it does very nicely as a one-shot. Well done! |

I think I read your story somewhere else... maybe on fictionalley.org... I didn't review it then but I definitely will now...
Amazing. Simple yet deep. Confusing yet clear as day. Sad but sweet.
A great piece. Goes to favorites... |

New or at least Different endings would be a GOOD thing!!(speaking of DH of course!) |

Brilliant... just, amazing. This short fic manages to speak volumes while capturing the dynamics of Harry and Hermione's relationship- quiet, simple understanding, and so much more. I love the reference (intentional or otherwise) to the ending of DH and the wrongness of Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione pairings. I prefer this fic as an end to DH. |

Aww, I loved this. (especially because I'm a book lover) It was beautifully written and I love your Harry character. |
