How unique!! I think this one is pretty good, if not even funny. For Hermione not to realise she's magical is a bit of a stretch. I know Harry was unaware until Hagrid told him, but Hermione is much smarter than that. Good start though. |

Argh, so short!
OK, now you know I'll have to read the next chapter. 
And I have to make this a short review because my little one is well enough to go to school tomorrow and she is attempting to escape her bedtime yet again.... get back in that bed you little monkey... yeah I saw that! my own Indy type of adventure to capture the evasive monkey and get her back in bed.

This was really good! I'm really glad that you took the time to actually look stuff up for your chapters! I know that some people dont and used to be one of them but I am getting out of that habit... slowly... But having people like you do that makes me want to do it even more. There is nothing better than reading a story that has facts in them!

I have to ask, why in all hells is Hermione so unhelpful? I know right now she's the newbie (to the trio and to magic) but there has to be something that she can do to show them how worthwhile she is. Remus seemed to have confidence in her, so I was wondering what she could do. |
Author Feedback: Hermione was primarily brought on board because she has around seventeen years of experience in tracking down mythological artefacts. Beyond that, she's the real brains of the outfit.
I'm sorry if she seems a bit useless, but I've tried to give each of them different areas of expertise.
Harry- Leadership, improvisation, moderate-high intelligence
Ron- Languages
Hermione- experience, high intelligence |

Hey look WCMD, I found the story after all.  I'm glad I have, it is a good one. I like the Indiana Jones/Mummy/Lara Croft theme you have on this challenge. It is coming out very nicely indeed.

No, got a few chapters left I'm afraid.
Just saw the trailer myself. It looked good, but I miss the Indy of the 70's. The old TV serial style will always be Indy, and no fancy special effects will ever change that. |

this is a really interesting start, and unfortunately, although I have seen several Harry/(insert famous treasure hunter here)crossovers begun - I have not yet seen one finished - I hope fervently that is the exception.
I am looking forward to seeing what methods you use to teach magic to Hermione.

And I'm not sure if I'm even going to show them teaching Hermione magic. I might just have them get the spear, kill Tom, and fast-forward a few years like the epilogue of doom(tm) |
