Author Feedback: Hermione is a very intelligent young woman, and I assure you she has reasoned out all of these things to the best of her ability.

She accepts her parents' deaths because she realizes that there is no future in mourning them while people are trying to kill her. However, just because you don't see her crying over them doesn't mean that she isn't.

As for Harry and Ron, she really has nothing better to do with her time; she's too young to go into the business for herself, she would probably have a great deal of difficulty finding another job, and she couldn't possibly survive as an unemployed bachelorette.

The magic thing is even easier; the possible explanations are: either they're telling the truth, or they planned an elaborate charade involving trapdoors and illusory projectors in a castle many centuries old in the time that they had between arriving in Germany and revealing it to her. WHich makes more sense, I ask you?

For all other cases, she is a mature and professional young woman who realizes that losing her head at every unusual situation will not help them get the spear and get back to England alive.

But I do think I'll touch on Hermione's feelings for her family. Maybe not next chapter, but soon.

I am glad you seem to be enjoying my story so far, and I hope that the remainder is as interesting.

Author Feedback: *shrug* I try. Whoever designed that castle was incredibly unusual. Inscriptions of semi-modern riddles translated in almost archaic languages, a Druid standing stone bearing a Celtic fertility symbol that, when activated by a Celtic ritual carves an English inscription of a Biblical verse and a Judaic interpretation of the God of Abraham, at the centre of a labyrinth structure of design from sixth century Britain, within a German castle dating back to at least the start of the eleventh century. An unusual combination, to say the least.

You'll have to wait for the next chapter to learn more, but I will tell you that they remain on Earth as we know it; there will be no dimension-jumping in this story.

I hope the continuing adventure continues to live up to its standards.

I am very glad that you are enjyoing this one, despite your initial doubts.

I fully understand your first point, and I have a ready-made explanation. Refer to my general explanation of magic in FA (chapter 10 or 11) for the backstory, but my hypothesis is that whatever causes magic matures as the person ages. Therefore, as they become older they are less prone to accidental magic. Anything she had produced earler in life could have been passed off as something to do with the tomb they were presently exploring.

As for the second, I can offer no explanation but that not even Hogwarts owls are infallible.
