Well, it definitely wasn't the ending I expected, but I liked it! It's not like Harry and Hermione were longing for each other, regretting what they'd done. It wasn't all sunshine and daisies where they leave Ron & Ginny and get together, but it was a selfless act. Very well done! And if you're considering it...I would love to read a sequel.

Just a few things I wanted to ask. Okay, #1 is Headmaster Octavian\'s name related in any way to the Roman emperor?
#2 I don\'t quite see Neville Longbottom so outspoken, saying those things about Harry and his friends so easily; normally Neville blushes and stammers a lot, it seems to me. Then again what the heck, he\'s probably a lot more confident now than he was at school...
#3 In Hermione\'s letter at the end of Chapter 14 she says \'Me and your dad\'. I understand that Hermione\'s in a very stressful situation, but she\'s so brilliant, I still can\'t see her using incorrect grammar.

I just thought of something! It would be nice if Hermione is the one who finds Lily and she finds solace and comfort with her. It will surely leave James even more confused! Haha! But seriously, it kind of adds drama to things and maybe a different Harry and Hermione could be seen interacting with each other among the presence of family and friends. I would just want them to settle things first before the all the media hype.

But considering i'm reviewing when this has been completed, i'll just have to stick to whatever you wrote. haha! on to the next chapter then!

it's sad, to have not been able to be with the one you loved so dearly. but looking at the consequences, I think they made the right choice. although, I kinda hoping for something else. ya know, when Ron meets up with Luna, I thought maybe somehow you would make them a couple and thus give way to HHr. but I ask myself, what about Ginny? for that there are 2 options, be it her with Draco, because James already had a contact with Scorpious, or her with Neville, but I never thought he already married. so there goes that idea. tell me, is it in canon that I missed or you just made it up? and i think it's a brilliant idea to make J-C as a compensation for HHr, they do look alike (in terms of personality of course).

and you know what, I really hate the epilogue JKR made, so your story really sate my need to read a decent ending to this Harry Potter saga. thank you for writing this particular story.

ah i like this story it is so sweet but yet kinda sad that harry and hermione have to hide their feeling for each other to everyone and only truly be themselves when no one else is around...i would hate to live my life like that but it was their decision and i think this is a wonderful story about life and choosing what is right over what is easy and i truly think they didn't do what was easy anyway great story

WOw, I have been craving a HHr fic that is cannon compatable I do not know I just was. The more fanfiction I read the more disapointed I become with HBP and DH. This just shows it even more. I always read about these big signs that point HG but I never see them.

On to this fic I really like the style, the parralles between James and Celesca and Harry and Hermione. I like the style of a mistery wehre James and Celesca attempt to get to the truth.

I was all set for this fic to be done but when I went online to see what else the author had writted I was suprised to see it under still in progress so I can not wait for what is next.

The explanation was a bit weird, but overall this was a brilliant story. Well done and I hope to see more from you soon! *Eli*

I loved the story. There was a good amount of detail and you developed your characters well. I have never seen this take to the ship before but it works quite well.

My only critasism is that sometimes your sentences disn't flow very well and I had to go back and reread them.

I really liked your story up to the ending. For a H/HR shipper it seems kind of like a letdown. Almost like the next gen. is supposed to take the place of a true H/HR ship. Although I did not like your ending I really liked your story you are a great writer I look forward to your next fic.

It was was alright... just dissapointing. I wasn't too dissapointed until I thought about it.

I think it was a copout ending to a "Harry/Hermione" story. I wasn't expecting a happy happy ending, but I was expecting a H/Hr ending, and in my POV it didn't happen.

There were also too many plotholes; Ron going out with Luna without telling Hermione(I hope this wasn't from another fic ) and how H/Hr can claim to love eachother but ignore eachother for over ten years. (and if they didn't there's another one to explain)

I know you didn't want this to be an affair fic, but it has turned out to be, you can have an affair without sex. An after epilogue H/Hr fic can only be a divorce/death or an affair.

Thank you for trying and I hope you write an epilogue, preferably one surrounding Harry and Hermione getting together during life.

You know, at first I wasn't fond of your story...i really wanted more of H/Hr. But then, I became to realise that I really really want to know what was going on between hermione and harry. And I was feeling the worst when I read the chapter before the last. I was preparing myself for something like "there is nothing, we are both sooo in love with our spouses, and we don't like each other a lot". yes I know, that's a lot....and then, I read the last chapter and I couldn't think of a better end. So I want to tell you that you did a great job with this fic and that I wouldn't mind reading anything else from you ^^. So that' why I'm gonna look for your other fics !!!

Well... I absolutely loved it, and if you do a sequal, other than the "maybe" one, do one of Harry and Hermione in the afterlife, trying to deal with Ron and Ginny.

It was a wonderful story, and absolutely brilliant.
