Author Feedback: I have an office in this house, so that makes it more spectacular than my old house, and a swing near an outlet, should I be so inclined to swing outside while I write... another grand plus. The move went quit well, and to be honest... I started on this chapter before the move... just the whole packing/unpacking (which we are not done, but nothing can be done about it right this minute... waiting on the gas man).
Actually, when I release the very final chapter (the chapter that contains stuff that didn't make the cut, the James and Hair tonic thing was slated to be in the first date chapter... way back in chapter... well, I think it was 17? It got cut from there, but about the 3rd time I sat down to write chapter 42 when I was placing the other 2 versions of chapter 42 in the Random Scenes folder, I reread that and knew it had to be included). Funny how that worked out.
Anyways, thanks for sticking with it, even with the long wait!

yay! they're back together! ooooooh that makes me so happy! 
... as noted by all the exclamation points. lol
so I'm guessing that they can somewhat thank sirius for helping get them back together? that is, spying on lily and telling james to suck it up.
well, now that they're back together (...after a few months too long apart...) hopefully we'll be seeing everyone else soon

My very first really super long story that I read here, I printed it off too (at work, none the less). It was already like 20 chapters in when I started reading it, and I printed them and read them when I didn't have access to the computer (like at lunch, walking to the bank, etc... I became really good at walking and reading... hardly ever ran into anyone... )
Sirius, I really LOVE him as a character. He certainly pointed the two at each other and shoved... (as you will see in chpt 42).

oh my goodness!!!! Oh my friggin goodness!!!!!!!!!! This is another excellent chapter, you had me worried when you said that JAmes and Lily were on a break ! But a guess a thing like what happemed makes you reevaluate things huh ? I also like the fact that Sirius is still there for him through thick and thin, you also show how it affects a would- be mother when she has a still born child or still born children in Lily's case. It also a good thing that they are willing to give it a second chance ( I mean they kind of have to or else there is no HArry Potter) . All in all it was a very very very very very very very very good chapter ! It was very emotional again, you have a very good way with words Like always keep writing and Keep it Up!!!!  |
Author Feedback: Thanks. I wanted to be true to the emotions of a parent losing a child (at any age or stage). I've miscarried pregnancies before, and while they were early on, they were still hard. My aunt had a still born child, and she was made to deliver it without any drugs. She was later on in the pregnancy... 20+ weeks.
I am glad that you think I have a way with words. A lot of people say that.

About the roll eyes things, I don't roll them at you, but at the characters, when they do something I feel silly. for example, right now I'd want to roll them at Lily for moving out of their place and putting both herself and James through misery without reason. But I guess I can restrain myself from using that emoticon. Maybe.   |

 omg that was pretty depressing .. but oh so fitting and very well done.. in a way I can't believe lily would leave him and everything but I know i'd feel every bit the same as she does if this ever happened to me. great job!!
please don't walk away from the story as depressing as this part of it is it is a really great story that many people would be able to pull of as beautifully. I really love this story.. even the sad parts
I can't wait for more.

Author Feedback: Having never lost a pregnancy that far along, I wasn't sure how intense the feelings would be. I've lost 3 in the past 11 years, both were fairly early on (7 weeks, 9 weeks and 11 weeks). I was very upset (you start to fill yourself with dreams and hopes for the unborn).
I am glad that it was powerful. |
