Hi Azure,

I missed the update. So sorry. The imagery of your words is so beautiful. I feel as if I were right there with them. And summer rain... I love rain, and any story, any writing with rain in it always touches me in the heart.

BTW, is Ron going to make any appearance in the future? How about Luna?

I'm breathlessly waiting for the next part!

Oh, I\'m so happy to see you wrote a second chapter of this!! The whole thing is so gorgeous, and I love how you\'ve done your Harry and Hermione characters, they\'re not fake at all.

Love the descriptions, and still love the feeling the story is giving me. However, and this is more a recommendation than a critic or observatin: the happiness you are developing here can only work for so long; it'll become... how to say it in english... Corny? A bit too sweet?I'm not trying ot offend, mind you, I just don't remember the word in english right now. The thing is that it can get tireing, hehe.

Cheers!

I like the style a lot, to be honest. And I like the light and tranquil feeling this first chapter has given me.

Cheers!

Yes, pretty good start. And Harry and Hermione are always better with the rain Also I like seeing them happy.

I loved this chapter too, and you I feel that you really don't need the complicated plot, you're doing very well.

Wow. It was just beautiful. I loved his kiss, and seeing Harry is back, I expect that they'd get together soon=)

It was a very lovely chapter. I hope Hermione finds Harry soon. Again

So awesome. I'm so glad you updated. Portkey is lacking in sweet stuff like this. Great job!

A very gentle and affectionate chapter demonstrating how the feelings between these two are quitely growing strong and deep, binding them in ways they don't expect.

Bravo!!

I had almost... almost forgotten how jealous I was of your writing.
Author Feedback: Glad I could remind you!

Thanks for reading, Amber. Now I must wait patiently for *you* to write something that I can read and comment on.

Hi Azure,

So yesterday I read this story for the first time & I was in a rush. Today I've re-read it again and I like it even more [I smile at the mention of sky and wind in the story ]. The story is full of promise because it can go in any direction. The next chapter could pick up in a week's time after this chapter, or a year, two years, five years, or maybe even after the 19 years canon epilogue [if you want to acknowledge DH].

There's a thread in Portkey about the new wizarding world which I'm interested to participate in and I may read DH just to enable me to do so. But I don't know. I'm still scared to have my heart broken again by the Harry Potter [HBP broke my heart, I didn't like OOTP movie, and so to read DH, knowing well it's not HHr in the end - it's just too much for me at the moment].

Anyway, perhaps drama and struggle in trying to restructure the post-Voldemort magical world can be part of your story [based on the 19 years later epilogue in DH, I don't think the magical world has changed much at all]. Or maybe Hermione leaves the magical world and lives in the Muggle world after Harry disappears for years. I'm also interested in stories where Harry and Hermione have conflict, separate, maybe even have other people in their lives, and later come back together again because theirs is true & forever love. Something like that.

But this is your story, Matt. Whatever you write, I'm sure it would be good. The beautiful thing about your stories are the imageries you paint with poetic words, and the emotions/feelings conjured by the storyline. I wish I could write like you.

And do take your time to write this story. Please do not rush. I can wait, seriously. A good story is worth waiting for. I'll be around in Portkey and I hope to read more of your stories in the future. I will read lon, chaptered ones, too.

Warmest regards,
winnie

ps: Any thought about writing funny stories like A Word with Paul Jones? I miss laughing!

pps: Who is Paul Jones?
Author Feedback: You have such interesting ideas, my friend! I'm afraid that I haven't given nearly as much thought into all the potential places I could take this as perhaps I should have have - I must confess, you see, that the plan for this wasn't to make it an epic chaptered story. Moreover, I was thinking of making it a collection of small atmospheric pieces revolving around what Harry does in the aftermath of the final battle.

I hope you don't mind that decision. It's a little less involving then a full-out story, I imagine, but it also lets me play with different writing styles and different moods with each chapter.

Even still, I hope you continue to enjoy it!

I'm thinking the next chapter should be up within this upcoming week, hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do with it yet, hence the delay, but rest assured it's on the horizon.

As for A Word with Paul Jones, I admit I haven't really thought about doing anything along those lines. I'm not against it, certainly, but a straight-up parody would force me to read Deathly Hallows again, something which I wouldn't relish.

However, it's actually fairly likely that at least one chapter in Breathe will be humorous in nature, so I hope you'll get at least a few laughs from that.

And Paul Jones was a relatively popular naval commander during the American Revolutionary War. When his ship was seemingly on the verge of defeat during a battle with a British ship, Jones denied an offer to surrender with these famous words: "I have not yet begun to fight!"

At the time, I thought referencing him was a clever analogy to the HMS Pumpkin Pie's plight in the aftermath of the Half-Blood Prince.

And there's your history lesson for the day.
