Author Feedback: Six years changes people a lot. I guarentee that you have changed a lot, and that you are a different person now than you were six years ago. We don't know what their relationship entailed, and I am not stupid enough to forget what an ass he was to her during school. Perhaps almost dying twice in the seventh book really made him re-think his position on life.

As for assuming that I have "zero sense of what real relationships are nased off of except those [I] watch on soap opera shows", you certainly have a lot to say on the matter for someone who doesn't know me personally.

I looked to see how much wonderful stuff you have written here, to basis your knowledge on relationships and such, but was unable to because you haven't submitted anything. I eagerly await to read what the reviewer writes.

Just because you don't like a shipping between two characters or something isn't written the way that you would write it, doesn't mean it is wrong. It is different. That is why this is MY fiction. You ought to write YOUR fiction whatever way you want.
