I found it a little weird that Harry, who was already able to defeat Voldemort, would have trouble fighting off another student, even if he is one of the better duelists in the school.

I definitely see your point, and in retrospect, I wonder why I did that. In Harry's defense though, he was obviously distressed about Hermione and angry at the same time. All of those conflicting emotions may have made him more vulnerable.

I don't know when the sequel is coming, but you guys have pretty much convinced me! I very likely will write a sequel to this some time in the future. I'm prepping to write another more "epic" fic but that will be a while before coming out. Watch out though, I will be posting a new endeavor very soon, in fact, give me 5 minutes!

Life's been insane so I've had little time to do anything at all! Thanks for your wonderful comments! They're much appreciated. Perhaps there will be a sequel to this piece.
