do you have reason why you choose to use a formal manner to call the other character. i mean, by using surname. it will be nice if you just use the first name.

I enjoyed the interplay between the verbal conversation and the physical touches that underscored their building relationship. Harry's musing on what he had thought he wanted in a wife versus what that might have eventually led to was interesting. I loved the talk with Remus, and that Remus compared Hermione to Lily. Ginny was well done, subtle enough in her initial flirtations that I wondered if Hermione was too sensitive, until she tripped against Harry. I look forward to seeing what happens next!

You write Regency era fic very, very well, keeping the formal tone without letting it become too stiff and awkward. I liked how Harry was initially hesitant around the Grangers, but how he gradually relaxed. His discussion with Mr. Granger was great, particularly his fumble about how much danger Hermione was in and his quick recovery. It was also nice to see Hermione from her father's point of view as a man who'd encouraged his daughter's intelligence despite the conventions of the era. I look forward to the Weasleys!

and so a little scandal DOES happen to add spice to life. particularly theirs, apparently lol. now as much as i usually like ginny (see also: when she's not after harry. which I guess excludes the novel ginny...) i kinda wish she would kiss off right about now, in a manner of speaking.

Good thing he didn't kiss Ginny... such a... he needs to tell Hermione he loves her!! Come on, she's suffering there! Oh well, until next chapter!

fantastic chapter I like the slow buildup and the not too much drama/angst. I just hope there wouldn't be after this chapter, the drama/angst i mean.
I smell a misunderstanding between H/Hr coming but I hope it won't be dragged out too long if it does come.

It would be fun to read if you do go and make Harry do the kneel before Lady Danvers and thanking her bit for real

Lady Danvers is she inspired by some character in a romance novel? Just that this character name is so familiar I just can't remember where I read it before.

The way Ginny reacts is suspicious. Did Harry actually believe her words that when she could not sleep she reads book? Yeah right. I say she’s spying on Harry and that clumsy foot is just so cliché. How dare she flirt with him at his own house! Maybe she wishes to have an affair with Harry. Shameless woman! I hope Harry shows her that he desires Hermione more than her and rub it in her face.
