The perfect ending to the perfect story. I kind of want to marry Lady Danvers, or at least send her a basket of cookies and booze and ice cream. Now if only I had my own meddlesome fairy god-dragon to set me up with a nice, gallant, sexy gentleman... here's hoping. Thank you so much for writing. This story is just... so, so wonderful. |

Okay, so I am ridiculously giddy that I get to give review #1,000! No other story deserves it as much as this one! These two are just so... at the risk of sounding like Paris Hilton... so hot. The passion and desire that exist between them is tangible and absolutely smouldering. This chapter, this fic, is just... beyond words. So... happy 1000 reviews! It makes me more than a little excited that I get to push you over the 1K mark! |
Author Feedback: Thank YOU for putting me over the 1000 review mark!!! That just made my day! I've been wondering if this story would reach 1000 (and absolutely amazed that this story's gotten such a response!) And thank you, also, for your very sweet reviews. I'm so glad you liked this story so much!
(Incidentally, I <3 your screenname. Ainsley was such a great character.) |

This is my favorite love scene out of any fanfic, in any fandom. It is so undeniably passionate, yet still sweet and poignant and real. Perhaps my favorite line of the whole fic: "She felt a small, very feminine smile curve her lips, a smile of a knowledge which she hadn’t known until tonight." Seeing Hermione grow from awkward girl to confident woman is the most fulfilling experience. Thank you so much for sharing her story. |

Ah, this chapter makes me so much happier than it probably should - mainly because it is a spiteful, "suck it, b*tch!" kind of happiness. I really love epiphanies, and Harry's in this chapter is just... brilliant. I swear, everytime I read the line: "For the first time, he looked at her and felt… nothing." ... I just laugh out loud a little, and get so giddy. Does that make me a bad person? |
Author Feedback: No, I don't think it makes you a bad person... or if it does, then I'm a bad person too. I got such a kick out of writing that line... But I really dislike Ginny now so... |

This is one of my favorite chapters, and is the one I would LOVE to share in my feminist literature class. Harry discusses all of the things that Hermione isn't - and realizes that lack of 'perfection' is just what makes her perfect. He begins, then, to see all of the things that she IS; he sees that she is lovely, and wonderful - he sees her as a woman, not just his awkward best friend. I love that he is so disconcerted with his mounting lust for her that he finds his horrible nightmare an almost welcome distraction. And in that distraction, he realizes that it is not just lust he is feeling - he wants her as a friend, as a woman... as his wife. And it is just so incredibly beautiful. |

Hermione in this chapter is so heartbreaking. Perhaps I am so moved by her declaration that she'd expected to be a spinster forever simply because that's how I feel every day. How no one pays you any second glance beyond your role as 'the friend,' how you feel so resigned to your lonesome fate, but hoping that you could someday experience the great love that stories are written about... yeah, I get that. Reading this again, I fall a little bit more in love with Harry; his gut reaction, confused anger, is so telling of his feelings for her, even if he doesn't see it yet. This story is so incredibly fantastic! |

I suddenly got the urge to reread this story, and I simply couldn't resist. As I was reading this first chapter, I find it remarkable how much this story appeals to the feminist in me; I'm taking a class on feminist literature right now, and I wish that everyone read fanfiction so that I could introduce this story to the class. I'd forgotten how incredibly enjoyable this story is, how truly lovely. Thank you so much for the time you put into it - your hard work really shows. |

Wow. Amazing.
...
Forgive me; I'm quite speechless right now.
The love scenes are so full of passion and love that you leave your readers undeniably satisfied and wanting for more of H/Hr goodness.
...
I'm looking forward to more of your stories. I just couldn't get enough.
Cheers,

I really love to read Harmony medieval stories and your is one of the sweetest of them. It has everything - slow action, blooming love, uncertainty, insecurities and bit.chyGinny. I wish I would read more of stories like yours. |

Oh my... I loved this story. It was utterly perfect, and I loved the vibrant imagery. The lemons weren\'t truly lemons, but such a wonderful act of love between them. So perfect... i love the era, the characters, the situations, everything! |

Usually I don't like AU stories, but you've just changed my mind!
I will definitely keep on reading until the end
Btw, I love your A/N2 "My Harry is much smarter than JKR would have him be."
I'll be favoriting this~ |

it would be really cool if your wrote a sequil to this, with snipits of their life after. maybe not a full story but chapters of continuous events. like the birth of their child, first christmas, first birthday, maybe another child, and stuff like that. just snips of their live following this story. in would be really interesting and i would read it...so would all your other fans. kind of like your portrait of a marriage story. |
