The whole "she kissed his scar" was really great. Your approach let you work scar in as the last word much better than JKR was able to. I would have been happier with that part of the Book 7 Epilogue had it happened similarly, even if it was Ginny doing the kissing rather than Hermione (blasphemy, I know ).

God I hate Ron...I despise that his best qualities are those of his mother and his worst are those of a Malfoy...hate hate hate hate him.

Ginny's reason makes no sense...Harry rose above his environment and Malfoy was too weak to do the same.

Harry demonstrated throughout canon he is resillient, and yet somehow that never translated emotionally...how could the audience ever relate to him if he was so emotionally stunted...yes teenage boys can be thick about their feelings...but he is literally stunted beyond comprehension here...

I'm enjoying the story, even if Harry doesn't seem to fit to me.

Another massive glitch in the canon radar...Draco Malfoy is a free man with a child after his role in the war...he didn't turn evidence and he committed crimes...things like this made me despise JKR's world towards the end of DH.
