That was so sad. I haven't read anything that made me want to cry since that horrid escuse for an Epilogue in DH.

I liked this "one-shot" and disliked it. Its different and very moving, and also makes me want to never read your fics again for fear of another horrible situation such as this. Although I will of course keep reading your fics because I love those.

What very horrible fanfic did you read that caused this reaction?

If you want to take it out, take it out on the owner of the potterverse not the characters. If you have been keeping up with the interview, Jk already said she went abit ofcourse with H/hr from the first four book and had to redo them or rather edge them to a different personality so that it could end the way she wanted it to which is one big happy weasley family.

JKR is well protected. They dont let on anything but alot of hitman have fell trying to take her down. She have mozad and MI6 agent looking after her. Ever heard of Mozad? I doubt you even know what mozad is because they are that secretive. They are the best spies in the world and every country in the world have at least a mozad agent of that nationality.

Hey I know about bad fics but that is the writers fault and not the characters in it. And this story is sad but what can I say life is not always about happy endings,unforunatly.

And don't listen to critics like Tom. Sure it might not fit perfectly with the HP storyline, however, it's a reality that this happens in life. Not something that's localized to one area.

It happens everywhere. Grim part of life that people tend to forget and then act the way they want, regardless of the consequences that will follow.

Wow... Sad... Very few stories bring me this close to tears. The worst part is that things like this actually happen. A small fight, Father goes out to a bar and... dies...

Good one-shot. There's a moral in here though. Family ALWAYS comes first. Never put ANYTHING in front of your family or you'll regret it for eternity...

Okay, Rule #4: Bad fanfic is not the fault of the characters but of the writer. Therefore, don't take it out on the characters.

If writing this has been therapeutic for you, great. As H/Hr fanfic, it's awful. Well past the point of "MAJOR OOC-ness", you are in fact putting the names of Harry and Hermione on two characters apparently unrelated to them except for physical appearance.

It's also not plotted particularly well; the phrase Harry was looking for was "Accio wand". The entire murder scene was utterly contrived. For that matter, so was the screaming match. So was the scene with Ron. So was the hospital scene. So was the graveyard scene. For those of you keeping score, that would be... the whole fic.

Again, if this helped work out some stuff for you, great. But, based solely on your writing, I have no desire to read anything else you've written. I'm certainly not going to take a chance with any more of your "H/Hr".

*grumbles* I wanted to cry at the end of the story! *sighs* Good job on the writing tho
