That was the most amazing thing I've read in a good long while. It's so powerful, so emotional, so lovely that it pisses me off considerably that JK never went that way in her books. But, I can always imagine how it would have gone, thanks to people like you and these beautiful stories.

I guess I just don't see why...why Harry values Ron's friendship so much. Ron certainly doesn't reciprocate except when it suits his purposes. You ask any friend worth their salt and they would follow their friend into danger if they needed to...Ron isn't special in that regard.

Omg, how true was this? It all made sense, and it cleared up H/G and how Harry is now feeling for Hermione.

I liked this chapter a lot. I particularly enjoyed the contrast between Ron and Hermione as far as Harry was concerned; I thought the part about how he missed Ron but needed Hermione said it all. I loved the part when Harry realizes Hermione is his everything, that she doesn't just love him but that she also knows him and that's what's so important as far as he's concerned. And the ending, reaffirming that Hermione is what he needs more than anything, was perfect.

Now that's what I call a story. Even though I'm still with/about Ron and his behavior, I am very with the over all pairing and ending to this story.
