Nice, the interaction between Harry and Dudley was awkward as it would be expected between two cousins who dislike one another, shall be interesting to read and see if Dudley is true to his word about Carla.. Keep it up!

How interesting to see Dudley pop up from nowhere after so many years. Maybe letting him benefit from years of being free of Vernon's bigotry and see the truly seamy part of life while in prison was what he needed to develop a conscience. I think you had the right balance of emotions for the meeting.
I shall be fascinated to see the developments from here.

I will admit...I'm kind of wondering what happened to Ron. This being mainly a H/Hr site, he often gets short shrift...but he WAS one of the Trio.

I don't think Harry was "being a typical boy" so much as "out of his depth." He'd never had a little girl to deal with, and wouldn't know what she needed or where to find it.

Carla's sure a little sweetheart, isn't she? And Harry's a lot better person for her to live with than that "grandfather" of hers. About the only excuse I can see for Vernon is that he's grieving...but even so, grief or no grief, his behavior is inexcusable.

Nope it is that easy once the paperwork is completed. Which is both a cruse and a blessing at the same time. The only time it is more then that is when you are adopting from a government state.

It is a great story so far. I am couriouse why harry left Carla in school for as long as he did. Also what curriculum is harry using for the kids? and when does he have time while teachin gat Hogwarts to give each shild the one one one time they need to learn? it is a great story so far. I am hopeful for new chapters to come.
