You must be a right nasty person to think that a mother could just up and leave her baby like that, I honestly can not see what kind of person would turn Hermione Granger into a nasty selfish version of Malfoy, no doubt you will eventually have malfoy in this story as the good guy. trully your mind must be really nasty, I have three childsren and the thought of actually just dumping them on some one for more than a week just for a lousy job would not even enter my mind, in fact only death could part me from my babies and then I would fight it tooth and nail, you are one dumb writer. |
Author Feedback: First, this is a fictional story, not real life.
Secondly, I would think if you want to be critical, and truly believed what you were saying and ready to back it up (which is everyone's right) you could have your real user name up there instead of Anonymous.
Lastly, the way someone writes a story doesn't mean that they are a "right nasty person" and/or "one dumb writer". It's not fair to any writer, fanfiction or not, to jump to conclusions like that unless you know them personally.
My advice to everyone who criticizes the story itself is, "if you don't like it, don't read it!"
And for those of you who have seen my responses to reviews, whether you are loyal readers or just dabble, you know I don't usually respond to people like this. But, once ANONYMOUS reviewers make remarks about a person's morals, views, beliefs etc. without even knowing them, then I think it's time to stick up for yourself and all the fanfic writers who DO get flaming reviews like the one above. Truly, I believe there are so many different kinds of HP stories out there, you just have to find the one that is right for you and obviously this wasn't the right one for her!

AHHHhhhhhh, what you want to go and do that for, I was just thinking I had found a well thought out story and I was really getting in to it, then you come up with they have to be apart because Janie has this oddity, just think what would happen if Ginny was still alive you think that one of the parents of an eighteen month old couls just up and leave their child, well the same sort of thing would go for Harry and Hermione or even the grandparents, I dont think you really thought that part out, it just to impossible. |
Author Feedback: This is a world of fiction and half of the "stuff" in HP is impossible in the real world. But, then there are many parallels in the HP world that translate into ours, like having to leave your child for your job. Hermione's job called for her to be away from her 18 month old...just like many parents in the Military have to leave their child. That is what I see the Ministry of Magic as...the Potterverse Military. When women and men sign up for the Military in the real world, and then get married and have a baby, the know in the back of their head that they may one day not be there for the birth of their child, or have to leave them.
And, I'm not sure I follow your last sentence...you go from talking about Harry and Janie going away then saying that if Ginny was alive she wouldn't leave her child? Harry didn't leave Janie. Hermione was called away for work, which DOES happen in real life.

Some nice touches here. I like the way Harry & Hermione are on the same "wavelength" here and I like the way Draco is maturing and growing with the help of his wife. I rather imagine that the bad guys are not going to like what eventually comes up against them. Good writing and good plot development in all ways.
*snicker* It'd be a nice touch, and a surprise to them both, if Hary & Hermione had Draco & Priscilla stand up for them at their marriage. |
Author Feedback: I haven't even thought about what their wedding will be like, lol. I need to get them through the action part first...that is something to mull over though!

It´s been so long, I know, all we have tasks and problems, but I love this story.
I suppose that we will have action in the next chapter, maybe? Draco will be there too, it will be fantastic. And what about Janie and Scorpious, what´s the connection?
I have a comment to say: I have a suspicious about John, I don´t know.... maybe it´s my imagination, but he is not so good while he pretends to be...

Author Feedback: Suspicious about John...hmmm. I actually never thought that, so I can say he's just a great Auror and a good guy who loves his work a bit too much!
I do love hearing what other people think MAY happen. It sure shows us how differently we process words and underlying meanings in stories.

Another great chapter. Interesting twist with the portraits (having to keep secrets from their ex?spouses). I'm also wondering if Draco is actually on their side or not [old thoughts are hard to break ]
