Your story is a reasonable Alternative Universe fic.

Not very different from the other H/H fics that are currently available. Basically the problem with H/H fics these days lies on the fact that all H/H fics are AU universes.

Reason? Canon is over.

But like I said, your fic is well written. Maybe you could try to write original stuff. I believe you will be able to write something good and different and original.
