I had known about this story for a while, obviously due to its winning the Elder Wand Competetion. I never started it though, likely because I thought it was going to be much more angsty than it actually was. Actually, this story wasn't at all what I thought it would be-- I must say I was plesantly surprised.
Overall, it was a completely enjoyable read. Not only well developed in terms of the characters, but also very well written, with a style that was neither too vague nor too heavy. I really, really enjoyed it, especially in the last chapter with the description of Harry's relationship with all his children, something I don't think JKR did very well.
Again, fabulous job. Thanks for sharing. |
