Aww bittersweet... I don't mind it being one shot, it feels very real and it surely would happen at some stage after that epilogue. I like that way you write - very passionate and very in character. |

You know, this should be explained in more than one shot. It's not fair that Hermione is suffering but Harry is not. He seems so cold to her. Harry seems doesn't have problem with his marriage. What they have is beautiful. It should be more than one shot. You have to explain more. |
Author Feedback: I understand what you mean, but the problem is that I wasn't sure if I wanted to write this fic anyway. I had the inspiration and I started writing with the intention of making it H/hr, but I couldn't do it, and I think continuuing it would only make me more depressed, if you know what I mean. So while I do appreciate where you are coming from, I just can't handle writing any more of this fic. |

Whoa, quite the sad and poignant one-shot, there; though I could see it as a start to a longer story where something happens and they end up together after all that's happened (it could be lots of things as strikes the fancy and imagination of the writer). With this as an intro, things could get quite interesting, esp. the reactions of their kids to these two getting together. |
Author Feedback: Yeah, I had originally planned for it to be a full length h/hr fic, but I don't think I could do it. Maybe a better writer might be able to, but for me I can't bring myself to tear apart two families just because I love H/Hr. |

Really well written, showing painfully straightforward what's been destroyed in canon. This is much more likely what their world would look like nineteen years later... well, rather nineteen months or something. By the time that great Disneyland-Epilogue takes place, both Harry and Hermione would probably have commited suicide. Dividid in life, united in death. You can't stop them J.K.!
Beautiful story, anyway. Although Rowling would probably wonder why you didn't mention the beast in his chest. Alright, I'll just shut up now... |
Author Feedback: Yeah, it kind of sucks to be honest. I wanted to write this as H/hr, but it ended up being turned into a rather depressing one-shot. I just can't write Harry and Hermione leaving their families, so from now on I will be totally disregarding canon and writing whatever I darn well like, lol.

Author Feedback: I have to admit, the epilogue did screw up canon fanfiction, but I really needed to get this story out of my system before I continue my H/hr fanfics.
This is the last canon H/hr fanfic I will write, so don't expect anymore depressing stuff like this from me in the future.

Author Feedback: Yeah, it's a one-shot and a very depressing one too. As much as I am a h/hr fan, I found that I couldn't bring myself to break Harry and his family apart for Hermione, so I guess it just ended up being a very depressing story.
This will probably be my only canon h/hr story that I will write, so anything more from me is going to be completely disregarding canon.

Thank god this technically compilies wiht the portkey rules so some idiot (ahem, i wont mention names..) could come and remove it!! I liked it! hard core harry, u cant leave the kids...but yet you love her. they are aware of their feelings. it was pretty good, but i can see you continuing it so that it wasnt so offensive to some! |

I'm glad you understand what I was showing anyway. I mean, yes when I originally wrote this I wanted to make it H/hr, but I just can't see Harry leaving his wife and children, no matter how much he loves Hermione. It just wouldn't be right, and I guess that is why I ended up making it a one-shot.
I don;t think I will be able to continue it, purely because it's too depressing, and nothing could make me force them apart, so I guess this is it. |
