For being what this is, a rewrite I think we have to expect some slow times and not a lot of changes. Will we see major changes as it goes or more slight ones? I see that Ginny and Harry don't seem as cozy as in cannon, that at least is a start.
In my opinion, the natural character development leads towards Harry/Hermione. It's only when Ron and Ginny are forced into the story does it change. It almost seems that JKR had to force those relationships constantly.
I don't expect a lot of fluff or else for a while, however as long as we see little bits here and there will be okay. I REALLY HOPE that you fix the tent scenes also... |
Author Feedback: Haha, yeah. Most of the beginning will be slowed and more concentrated on the central plot of defeating Voldemort...But as time goes on...We'll see the changes of Harry and Hermione's friendship.
I know! It was rather obnoxious how Ron seemed to act like Harry all of a sudden to make it work. It bothered me a lot and I just wish that JKR didn't have to do it.
There will be cute hints of fluff for now....But when that tent scene comes...oh snap.  |

Yeah, I noticed the differences here. Wasn't his reaction to the kiss a bit different too? Anyway, i know you're only going to make small modifications to the actual book, but the kiss...well, I would have done without it, you know 
As for the flamers, let them be. I, and many others I bet, enjoy this story, and I'm even thinking about printing it and putting it in my collection in DH's place. I shall see how it progresses and if i keep liking it, especially the transition from Harry liking Ginny to Harry liking Hermione and from Hermione liking Ron to liking Harry, but it's a possibility  |
Author Feedback: Yay! xD His reaction was definitely different. In the book, he was like "YUSS! GINNY KISS!" XD And he was saddened by the fact that she would marry someone else because his future was in the balance, but here, it's not that way.
xD The flamers fuel me somewhat. I mean, I know I'm taking JKR's words and everything and it's not the most original thing in the world, but I don't actually care. xD I need something to read to my children one day.
