Well what bothered me about this was the lack of magic. There wizards so whybdoes the lift use ropes? Why didn't they levitate down the shaft? Why couldn't they heal the ankle themselves? This just seemed a bit out of place for a harry potter world based story.

Author Feedback: Agreed. This is actually my least favourite story as well...as to why don't they use magic, the reason is that I simply wanted to make it more effort-intense...it wouldn't be much of a story with magic, so I did it for the sake of the plot.

Well, it's quite simple really...it's impossible, because the Ministry would not allow apparition on its property, above and below ground, as far as I know...

well, that was a cute little one shot. I like the whole elevator thing... you should do one where they're stuck in an elevator FOREVER! lol, not really, but for a very long time... see how much they can drive eachother nuts.

Yeah, the story was a result of a D/G plot bunny I had...but you've just given me the idea for a D/G 'Stuck in an Elevator' fanfic series...

Dunno, if there's enough meat on the bones, I might consider doing it...
