Cute story. Except i think Harry's proposal/confession of love for Hermione is a bit cold. He doesnt even say the words "i love you" but other then that i really liked the story! |
Author Feedback: Well he does, just not in the cliche way. Everything he says to her in that paragraph really sums up to "I love you" it's just more subtle than the outright proclamation.

I really liked this... It was short & sweet and reminded me of all the H/Hr fluffy stories we saw before the "Book that shall not be named" was published...

Author Feedback: hehe, yeah, I wish there were more light and fluffy fics, but everyone has to take the more darker/angsty note when they want to keep it at least somewhat canon because of HBP, which is sad.
Hopefully DH won't be such a dissappointment to us aye? JKR might still pleasently surprise us. |

*Laughs* I can just see them making the formal announcement, and then -clearly- stating that both had been unsure of the other's feelings but that the Daily Prophet's error had forced them to discuss how they felt and both had found their feelings more than returned. As a show of their consequent good will toward the paper, they won't take any legal action and will invite them to send their best reporter - most emphatically stating that such is not Rita Skeeter nor Josie Nozie - to cover their wedding as the only reporter from that paper permitted. The reactions would be "interesting". |
Author Feedback: heh, if I was in a creative mood, I would possibly write a sequel along the lines of that, and show the wedding, but I don't know if I have the motivation to do that right now.

This was great! I enjoyed Hermione's outrage over the Prophet article, and her disbelief that Luna bought into it was even better. So was her reaction to everyone else trying to Floo her. It was fun to see her storm over to Harry, only to be floored by Harry's utter lack of reaction aside from amusement. The contrast was perfect. I enjoyed Harry asking Hermione to marry him very much, as well as his explanation of why he was asking. |

This bit was a lot of fun! I loved it from start to finish although I am curious as to whether or not Harry knew about the article prior to Hermione coming over. It seems as if he and Ron and their humor laden smiles already knew what was up. And even if they didn't the fact that readers will have all these questions further solidifies how good this piece is. |

No, Harry did not know about the article prior to Hermione coming, and neither did Ron. In Ron's case I think he was just amused because he was probably thinking "it's about time"
