Bravo, this battle was extremely well written it was almost like I was there. This is one of those stories that you never want to end because, you've become attached to the characters. Well I best prepare my self for the end of a wonderful story. |

 Well now they are all back and we have a full house to attack Bella and company. After a little battle practice, we should be able to get to the big battle scene. Will that be soon? I love having the original marauders to play with, that could be very entertaining!

Wonderful Story. really enjoying it.However I do have one niggle, and that's there very little mention about Harry and Hermione's relationship. Ok they got married but after that they never seemed to get a moment together. Ok so there's 2 niggles, but they are very much linked. When Harry's Parents came back I was surprised that Harry never introduced his beautiful wife to them. Ok that's my rant out of the way . As I said at the beginning it is a wonderful story. So please don't let my rant discourage you from finishing it. |
Author Feedback: I know what you mean. The way this story turned out, is such that the committment towards Lestrange largely defines their persona lives...shortcoming of my authoring skills, but the next chapter will have them spend a LOT of personal time together, with a nice twist in the end...
James and Lily know about Harry's marriage...he spent time with them in death, while trying to retrieve Remus...and I have planned interactions between them in the next chapter...Hermione wasn't well for a while, she's got to worry about the Ministry...no time for personal life. :/
And that concludes my rant to address your rant.

So Bellatrix is truly desperate, and is planning a suicide mission to take the power. That can't be anything but her demise, considering that her own followers don't have faith in her anymore

One little passage I didn't think fit or made sense was Ron using the unforgivable curse. Why would he? And why didn't he get prosecuted for it? There were plenty of press there to see and hear him cast the curse. I didn't believe it was necessary to the story and seemed too out of character. |
Author Feedback: Ron is head of the Auror Department at this stage of the story. From canon, we know he is impulsive in his actions...i.e. shoots, and then thinks. Coupled with the fact that he finds loyalty key and important as a trait in someone as high-ranking as his own deputy, he is bound to be badly surprised and mad. He's in his full right to cast the unforgivable... Aurors are basically the army of the magical world...it's perfectly fair to take drastic action to prevent any further penetration or leaks, since the crack went all the way up to where his deputy was... |

I have to say that I have no interest whatsoever in political showdowns, and thus I don't like where you're bringing this story. I mean, until it's a fight between the Order and the Death Eaters, ok, but when it becomes a political battle for the control of the Ministry, it loses all its appeal to me.
anyway, since we have to deal with this, let's try to understand what's happening. My bet is that this Black guy is actually one of Bellatrix's cronies, and that it's all been a plan to gain the public consent. However, Bella's move to come out in public to ask for it was pretty desperate I think, because there's no way the majority of the population will choose to go to her side instead of fighting to keep freedom. That might be exactly what the government needed to cement itself again, a unite front against the threat of Bellatrix. |
Author Feedback: Given the fact the trio got suckered into politics means that I have no choice when it comes to them neglecting it for so long...the fact that the Aurors and MLE are on their side means they will have the necessary support to stay in power...Gaius Black is a pawn for the intrigue, and the Ministry is the setting for the final showdown, which I'm happy to say, will be bloody and gory.
I was flirting with the idea of having Bella and Black in a league, but that would be too predictable...so Black has been killed in the protest from last chapter, thus leaving no alternative leader for any opposition and cementing the trio back in power...simply because of the lack of said alternative. The people may not like it, but yes, they'll take the "lesser evil", which is the front against Bellatrix.
So yeah, the political thing is gonna lead up to the final fight... |
