What a great story! Hermione and Harry grieving for Ron made me ache for them both. I liked how they fled to a Muggle village; that was a nice touch and made perfect sense too. I think what I liked most was the slow, steady build up into the relationship, how it was a slow progression instead of right away. I also enjoyed how they had to grieve for Ron first, how he was still important to them even after they had gotten together. Thanks!

You've done another great job with this story and I for one, cheer every time you put up a new story, because you've always had such a great way with portraying emotions and making the stories very believable.

It's all wrapped up in your sentence: "“I love you,” he finally murmured not as if it were a declaration of anything startling but as if he were stating something she already knew. As if he had said those words to her countless times before…"

It's just....RIGHT. You could not have said it better.

Wow..this was truly amazing. I came on the fanfic list today really not expecting to find much but when I read this, I was tottaly blown away. Im at a loss for words right now. Everything you wrote about makes sense. About Hermione love for Ron, about how Harry and Ginny can never be together after the war because she could never understand and he could never tell her. But Hermione was always there and she would always. I like how you potrayed their emotions for eachother. They fell in love as mature adults, not as the teenagers they had been before the war. This is just brilliant I hope you understand how much hope and contenment this is going to give people before and after the release of Deathlow Hallows. Congratulations on an amazing piece of work.

Really quite lovely. I love the idea of Harry and Hermione still having a shot at love and happiness even if R/Hr turns out to be canon. Because I think--like a lot of people--that it's more likely that people grow to love each other with time as opposed to just falling...I love the way you said that in this one-shot. It was beautiful; well done.
