I read this one over on LiveJournal and I hadn't got a chance to review it there... I loved this piece and how true you stayed to Hermione's character. I don't see her straying far from Harry after the final battle and I really like the way you portrayed her character breaking down after learning that Harry may not survive.

Yess, very nicely done. There obviously was a link already there, no matter how tenuous, that helped bring him back from whatever void he'd been in. I suspect they're going to find that link vastly strengthened now that both are back among the living, probably to the point of occassionally embarrassing them.

Nice one-shot, angsty without dragging out the chains and red-hot pokers. Well done, not that that comes as any surprise to your regular readers.

Might I say thank you for making a miserable night wonderful again. The depth of Hermione's emotions...they almost made me cry during the "Prepare myself?" part. You blow me away with each and every ficlet you post, and this one tops what I've read. Awesome job.
