Hey... me again. i have nothing to do here...(ive finally realize that a whole wk w/o school work to keep u busy is really boring, and i think im finally missing school **gag!**) im having another dinner with the whole clan tonight (weve been doing this almost every other day since our cousins came to visit and im pretty much getting bigger and bigger from all these dinners!--- kind of reminds me of a big weasley gathering. ) and yeah, i see there are lots of post DH fics popping in the site... i really have to keep my discipline in not reading them! are ou also going to make one after SN? i hope so! cant wait for SN's chapter 8!

Very interesting! I liked how it was from Harry's point of view. His musing on how he and Hermione both lost the Weasleys was sad; I always hope that they'd be big-hearted enough to love Harry and Hermione anyway. Harry's doubts were perfectly in character, and made me ache for him. The bit about Ron being successful was good, and the end was great. I enjoyed Hermione looking at Ron, smiling at him, and then going with Harry and making it clear by wrapping her arm in his; the regret in Ron's gaze was also great.

Well it's almost time for my trip, trying to go to bed, sleep a few hours and hit the road. I'm meeting up with the group at 10.00 and were camping at the beach that night. Riding I guess 40 or 50 miles a day. I'll be back on Sunday so try to "talk" to you then.

awwee i liked it .. it was cute.. but kinda slow getting to the point

This has a nice touch to it, usually not a great fan on song fics but I liked this one. One small criticism, not sure if it's just my eyes or my monitor, but the light grey on white is a bit difficult to read, much easier with black on white.

I'm so glad you liked Pirates!! I'll rave more tomorrow abot what I liked about it but it's late so I'll just tell you about the last sceane. Turns out your Hubby was right! [Smart man] after the credits the screen says "10 years later" and you see a young boy quietly singing "A pirates life for me" and Elizabeth leads him to a cliff edge where they see a flash of green over the sun setting on the ocean and the Flying Dutchman appears with a very Piratey Will at the Helm. *Sigh* so beautiful and romantic! But it seemed so bitter sweet, I thought [as did many others] they would get this one day together and he would be gone for another 10[made me sniff abit it did. What the writers explained online was there were more bits telling you that because Lizz was faithful and waiting for him, the curse broken and he was returned to life! [much more sighing and sniffing]
The other thing that bummed me a bit was they left her all pregnant and barefooted, nothing against her being a mum, but it did seem to leave her out of any possible sequels [though at this point Keira does seem like the least likely to come back if Pirates 4 ever happens] But the writers were "Duh! you don't think Jack stayed in that rowboat for the next 10 years, you didn't see her give up being the Pirate King did you?" So thats so cool thinking of her adventures even if she does have will the 3rd in tow
And that kicked so much @$$ that she became Pirate King!! "Go Keira, go Keira"

Hello again!!
Just wondering, did you stay to the very end of Pirates? Past the credits? Because there is a last sceane there thats pretty important, but alot of people apparently misinterpeted [myself included] because of some stuff that was cut from the movie and the writers on some forums cleared up. So let me know if you saw that and what you thought.

Got your E-mail and even wrote back, but I thought I'd leave a review here in case you look here first.
Can't wait for you to see Pirates and tell me what you thought, Hopefully you loved it as much as I did. Slight chance I'll see it a third time tonight, but I got lots to do for my bike tour so probable not. Like 26 days for the "Order" movie and 34 for the last book, I may be more scared then excited.
Arrrrrh must go bike to ride.

That was a lovely little tid bit of a story - I'm glad you took a break to write it down (even though I have a hard time with thought of Hermione "loving him for so long" in terms of Ron ). Well done.

I got CHILLS!!! This is beautiful, Janie! This was subtle and well done. That moment where Harry thinks his fears are justified is heart-stopping! I think it added to the richness of the emotions to have Hermione actually not sure herself until she sees Ron. That gives credence to Harry's previous fears, so that they're not just a simple case of insecurity. However, of course we have our wonderful ending, with our favorite couple intact! I also like how you always manage to make Ron sympathetic in some way.
Great job! I've been looking forward to reading this all day! I can't wait for SN now!

love it. as usual... it was a little surprising that you've written a song fic but i still like-no, LOVE!- it! i was really uncertain at first on how you're planning to end the story (it took me a whole lot of discipline not to scroll down the page! ) but then, i know that you will never let us down... and you didn't! i love it how "HE" was feeling insecure and stuffs... i think it's my 1st time to read an hhr story where "He's" unsure if she really loves him and stuff (seems like i've been using the phrase "and stuffs" a lot, eh? )

anyways, i cant wait for your next story! is still growing??? im sure that "sorcerror's nook" will be awesome!!!

Definitely a short, but powerfully poignant, story. The only nit I could find to pick is that it shows up in a light gray font that's annoy on the eyes to read.

This was really interesting. Great job at this. I thought that it was very well done. I liked it. I want to know why Hermione left Ron (I mean obviously it was for Harry) but what was teh backstory behind it..well whatever.
