I've read the rest of your stories tonight and a few parts have made me want to cry. Like Hermione's memories in 'Happy Thoughts' and just now with the "He'll be my friend" bit. I enjoy the way you've portrayed Hermione, becasue it always seems to me that with how often she's picked on she'd be a bit more insecure sometimes, especially around new people. Brave, yes, but I don't know how confident she could be. Thank you for writing, and I hope there's more soon!

Author Feedback: Lol, to be honest, I was always ready to write another piece to it. I just don't know when it is that Hermione honestly meets the elder Weasleys. I was hoping it was after fourth year, because then all my little plots will fit into place, but I'm not going to risk writing a piece and finding out it won't make as much sense.
The point of this oneshot was a 'what if?' it could have happened in the canon. So, the next shot was supposed to fit in while derailing canon pairings.

love this chapter. Very touching so the elder Weasley know about little HErmoine and about Harry. Can see why Arthur would be depressed about what Ron and Ginny had said. But it helped them to help the Grangers undrestand Hermione. Love it |
