Ok, attempting to find humour in peoples sexuality has fallen a little flat with me.
I know Ron has always come across as a little dense, but to expect him to believe what they just told him......
I would have found this a lot more entertaining had Ron been uncomfortable when he learned that Harry and Hermione were in fact, a couple. Now THAT would have grossed him out! |

Well, I'm sorry that you feel that way. It wasn't meant to be rude in any way, simply silly, pointless, and entertaining. Sort of like a parody. But not making fun of homosexuals.
Besides, it's Harry and Hermione, Ron's best friends. If they told him something, Ron would most likely go with it. Specially when it's considering their sexuality. I know that I would believe my friends if they said--okay, not really. But do you see what I mean? Ron trusts them... and... Yeah... (Sorry, I'm not the best of explainers.)
