how does a fight outside of hogwarts affect one's prefect status that too when school is not in session?

I like the twist you've put on the story, even though Harry being Gryffindor's heir is not unusual the burst of magic thing with the wand and sword is a bit strange. Is Harry going to have to re-learn most of his magic because of this? or will he just transition into being an omnipotent wizard more or less overnight? Then there's deer old Hermione, is she going to tell Harry her new secret or wait ten years for the dolt to figure it out? So many questions and what's this I've read ... no more updates for several weeks. I don't want to have to hunt you down and leave Remus on your doorstep at the next full moon ... hint hint nudge nudge.

I thought the "conversation" with Snape was a bit over the top - especially since he was going to be taking NEWT potions. I know that sometimes Harry is a bit difficult to handle and I realize that his loss of Sirius has unhinged him, making him unstable towards his greatest available source of frustration (next to Draco). The poor kid needs Hermione to steer him; Dumbledore is obviously not the one.
I hope we get Harry turned back outward and communicating or we'll never get to the Heir of Gryffindor...

I hope Hermione doesnt berate Harry too harshly for Snape. Those two need a good shouting match. The alternative - Harry being somewhat meek and in control of himself - hasnt worked for the first five years...

I'm happy Harry yelled at Snape for Nev and Hermione too.

Also hope someone points out that (1) James was no angel, and (2) Harry doesnt have much in common with James beyond Quidditch and not liking to study.

Also, what punishment did Sirius receive for trying to feed Sev to Moony?

Delighted Hermione openly said that she loves Harry. It makes a big difference in your head when you say something aloud, and to someone else.

So this is what happened to Hermione during her summer. Well, I am surely expecting a wonderful fifth chapter. Until the, keep the good work!
